It’s very frustrating that a large store does not have WiFi, you have to walk nearly out of the store before you get any reception.nnThis inhibits your shopping experience if you need to check with family by ringing them of the correct product to buy your having to walk down to the front of the shop.nnI bought a reel of cotton and was unable scan it due to the bar code being very small and asking for the assistant to help she was unable to read the bar code number. So I had to leave it behind.
Was insulted within ear shot of other customers being told that he always deal with my kind is a racist remark I'm a black person and shouldn't be spoken to in that manner before the problem had been resolved I was told by the same person to come back the next day and I did the person I was supposed to see on thatday apparently didn't attend work was told this after waiting 20 minutes after the appointed time my view on this matter is he was trying to provoke me to get a reaction so that he can call the police to say I'm disturbing or creating or scaring customers tomake himself feel good and me who got verbal insults from someone who supposed to have respect for customers look and feel degrading I most definitely my money won't be spending in this kind of establishment again to be insulted so thatnhe can keep his job and be paid to insult me I'm a retired pensioner.
Visited Sainsbury’s Streatham Common today for the first time in quite a long while. It is actually my local. Unfortunately they didn’t have the items that I wanted . However I want to say thank you to the gentleman employee who looked after my trolley of food items etc etc while I had to desperately dash to the loo. The cold wind today was playing havoc on my uninary tract system . He even printed a new receipt for me because in my panic I advised the till I didn’t want a receipt.nIt is important to give praise where it is due.nThank you again SirnYou literally saved my dignity
Visited the store for a few items on my way home. It was absolutely freezing inside and the state of the gentleman's toilets was disgusting people wipe there feet on the way out
Unfortunately I've had three deliveries in recent months that have had burst and damaged items. Last time it was a broken packet of meat, before it's been damaged actimels. This time it was a split yogurt and an unknown soured milk substance with no clear origin. I don't always notice when unpacking because I'm rushing to get it done and feel pressured that I am keeping the driver waiting. I saw that something had leaked and showed the driver but I didn't have time to check what was covered in the liquid that smelt sour and off. When I took. 5 items back to the store in person, I was made to feel like a deviant by the female customer service member that's often there. A staff member in particular I've had this issue with twice where she is rude and unprofessional. She said 'i remember you' to me like I am a deviant. I ended up having three things replaced by another staff member named Nicky who was kind and happy to help. I felt guilted into keeping and replacing a few things out of pocket despite them smelling like soured milk. It's unnerving not being believed and I am no longer ordering from Sainsburys again. I never have this issue with Tesco and will stick to them in future. it's painful to be spoken to and treated this way, embarrassing me in front of a queue of people. I've not experienced rudeness like this before.
