Lovely supermarket, well laid on with some fantastic bargains. Plenty of paid parking that is refundable if your shopping is over £10. Clean WC, overall very good.
Simple mindedness at its best or worst?? :SSnnSo there I was, rushing towards the till because I was late for an appointment, clutching a couple of pastries in my hand. No surprise, a security guard or some staff member starts heading towards me as if they’re about to tackle me. Because obviously, to them, every customer is first suspected to be a thief, not someone who’s simply in a hurry. Clearly, the initial assumption is criminal; maybe then, if all checks out, a customer. That’s the treatment you get — faulted for merely being in a hurry. Why? Because you have things to do, yet you still choose to shop at your local supermarket. Once again, they treat you like a thief. Wonderful job, really. That’s the end of my review for the big supermarket on Clapham High Street by Clapham Common. Thank you? Yeah, Thank you!nnAnd the most amazingly bigoted part of all is that they might as well have thought I was really up to no good when I turned into the self-checkout area. As they approached me, it seemed they were checking if I had opted for a 'safe exit' at the last minute. Not to be caught cold, because to them, that's all they see—a thief. It's wired in their brains. And these are people paid to make the public feel safe. I guess to them, you're just not a member of the public. Guess what? You’re a thief just for existing, in a shape they can only interpret as so because of their simple-minded prejudice.
Sainsbury are now using a company called Euro Car parks to extort you for £85 the moment you spend more than an hour in their carpark.nnThe staff can't validate your parking if you do a long shop and just leave you to get harassed by the company Sainsburys have outsourced this too.nnAbsolutely vile.
Prefer this sainsburys to other ones. Easy parking and you get your money back when you spend £10. The items in store is plenty. And having the Nectar app is a must to get nest deals
A really large supermarket with a huge range of food.nI was very early so alot of mess understandably as alot of staff filling the shelves .nPrices generally higher than there competitors.nDidn't like to see managers shouting at the staff.nCustomer service was only average but sainsburys should realise that it is an important factor for alot of shoppers.
