Don't forget to validate your parking before you leave the store! There's a small car park round the back.nnLidl offers good value produce.nnThe tills are generally pretty busy and so there are often queues. They do have self service checkout machines now too. It can be quicker depending on how efficient people are when they scan. Not suitable for trolleys though.nnThere is security by the entrance/exit area.
Not looking as promising from outside but quite big parking lot. Very spacious inside filled with stock from floor to the ceiling. Amazing selection of groceries. Freshly baked pastries every morning. Only thing which is quite frustrating is the fact that it is very hard to find employees amongs the aisles because they are always busy somewhere else. Cash self-service tills are most of the time are not cash operating, and tills operated by staff after 7 or 8 pm does not operate at all. Finally the early browsing hours on Sunday 30 mins before opening does not exist as well because store is always opened at full hour.
Much cleaner and less crowded than other fellow outlets.nBut customer service as usual is appallingly poor.nScanning an item on sale cannot record the price. Staff could not find the item and when they did, it was wrong. All this led to prolonged waiting times at the till. The staff in attendance was grumpy they usually are.nBut the worst part is the unlit parking lot.nDespite several street lights, nothing was lit up and the parking lot is in complete darkness which makes it a haven for mugging and thugs! They need to sort this out for the safety of the shoppers.
Not the best off all.All self check outs are card only.There are big lines at peak times going to cashiers.
I wanted to simply charge my EV. Lidl take £40 of which they say they’ll return what’s not used. Instead they took £40 and the charger wouldn’t start. Now, they say I won’t get my money back for 3-5 days. Avoid this service.
