We ordered our food and within 5 mins it was on the table, we had 2 cod and chips, the chips were cold and half cooked. I ordered a seafood chowder which was lukewarm, our scampi the chips were hot but the scampi was cold. We spent £92 on 6 meals worst we have had for a very long time.Food: 1/5
We had a dreadful lunch and such a shame as we had brought friends from London down as always been good. Raw sausages , batter not cooked through, sausages replaced with yet more undercooked fish and waited ages and it was only just 12 on a Friday, we won’t be back.Food: 1/5
We’ve had an amazing fish and chips ! The portions were so generous. Fish was very meaty, flaky and super hot . Delicious! Fair price . Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Called in for breakfast, lovely good quality ingredients and all cooked fresh . Coffee lovely not your usual weak cafe coffee only fault was the door kept blowing open so was cold weather awful so not your fault could maybe just need looking atFood: 5/5
Bit over cramped with table and chairs . Food wise fish chowder could have done with more fish and less potato and butter to go with the bread . the two baked potatoes would have been nice warm and again no butterFood: 2/5
I saw the low rating too late after I put in my order. Luckily they were quiet and they cooked my chips to order, so only half of them were raw inside.Food: 2/5
Meh! Not great for the money . Expensive at about £14 for fish and chips. Our chips came with little black flecks like burnt oil. Not greatFood: 2/5
Fish and chips were ok but a bit greasy. The "cold" drinks are lukewarm. A bit expensive for what it is but not awful.Food: 3/5
It’s ok here and not a bad place to stop for a snack. We only stopped for coffee and cakes so can’t comment on the rest of the food they do. The brownie my wife had wasn’t great and was more cake than brownie. The tart was nice though. The coffees are all from a machine that does the work for you so they aren’t barista made and taste basic. Overall it is ok as long as you know what to expect. There are better places though.
Fish was ok- however most of the chips were not cooked properly, afew were actually crunchy due to still being frozen and not cooked through. This let down the fish which delicious.Food: 1/5
