The Red Lion Shirley is a friendly pub situated at the heart of the Shirley community in the middle of the high street. The rear lounge/bar has been renovated to provide a modern, spacious and exciting venue for gigs, parties, and meetings of any kind; in which catering can be provided. We have also added a purpose built, heated and sheltered smoking area to the rear. There is plenty of free parking surrounding the pub.
Currently we run regular band/music nights, such as Folk Night and Blues Open Mic Nights put together by the best performers in Birmingham. Another favourite is Only After Dark - a 70's/80's themed event. We're looking to run more band/music nights on a regular basis to expand the already excellent collection of performers that we support.
