Our family and extended family had such a wonderful time at the breakfast with Santa! We highly recommend! A huge breakfast, meeting and playing with the naughty elf, meeting Santa and all kids got gifts and photos. Was truly magical. Thank you to all the staff for such attention to detail and making all the kids and parents feel so special.
The food was so good. We asked who the chef was and was told her name was Charlotte. We have been here before but the food was the best we had had. Our server was called Rosie who was also very pleasant.
This is my local pub. Staff are good, food is actually great. Breakfast recommended too. Hard to fault it for value. And infact on the back of a recent visit, i want to flag up value again. Took the lad for fish and chips meal deal on his suggestion but they had sold out of fish. So we cobbled together a share plate of chicken and chips and stuff and then we had the build your own sundae. I was proper full up. The ice cream was lovely. I'm always sceptical of pub ice cream but this nails it. I'm updating a 6 year old review here and its nice that this pub remains consistently good. Its a chain pub, so expect that but it delivers every day to the community. Going back again really soon.
Very nice impromptu meal out. Good value for money, quick and polite service from all staff working. Will defiantly be visiting again.
Ordered 20 Sunday lunches in advance then on the day only found out no roast potatoes, beef was tough. Should have done extra veg and still forgot parsnips which were all hard so when bowl arrived most had finished their meals as they were cold. Very disappointing for a special birthday occasion....worse thing is they manager never came and apologise or offered any refund at all. Not sure we'd attend again with the family. 2 people ordering should be fine but they should have been organised with pre-ordered!! Over £250 spend on just food let alone drinks as well and only the poor waitress spoke to us about it to apologise. ...
Come here regularly with my 2 kids. They love the place! Staff are always very attentive and friendly with them which makes it a relaxing experience.
Had the chicken sizzler on a bed of vegetables and rice. Truly superb flavour. The other people in my party also really enjoyed their Lasagne. Would recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Lasagne very tasty.
Free parking, free WiFi, great food, great prices, outside beer garden, what more would you want! I'm local and there is a lot of choice around the area, but this is my families go to spot for drink and food.
Lovely Tuesday evening meal with my wife as we didn't fancy washing up. Very nice. I had the mixed grill this time. Its great local pub with a friendly atmosphere.
