Had a great meal here. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Mixed grill was huge and very tasty. My only negative was the rump steak very tough and gristly. Shame they don’t offer to upgrade that part to a sirloin for an extra fee, I would happily pay extra. Overall the food was very good and served quickly by the friendly staff. Will be going back soon Vegetarian options: Lots of choice. Not for me, but a good selection Dietary restrictions: Very detailed menu listing all ingredients Parking: Large car park with several disabled spaces Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Dontcha just love it when things turn out splendidly? Our coach was passing along the road when ALL the passengers on board spied this boozer and called for the driver to stop. No idea what the pub would be like, it turned out like a dream. Great place, lovely staff, fab beer, good grub. Excellent!Food: 5/5

So a bit of a mixed one here. Despite giving good stars, I'm overall giving a 3. This is why: this is not what I would call family friendly. The booking option does not give you the chance to chose if there are children in your party. We had booked to eat here and found our table occupied in the sports section, they moved with no issues. However we were cramped, and listening to grown men swearing over the rugby while trying to enjoy a meal out with our son. This was around 5pm, so still very early in the evening. The restaurant area was fully booked as it had been booked out for a party. So there was no where else we could have sat. We rushed our drinks and left. However!! I have also been here with adults only and had no issues what so ever. The food is okay, and the drink selection is good. Service on the app can be a bit slow, but that's when the bar is really busy and the poor staff have a lot to do! Have also been here when there was live music and enjoyed it. Its just sadly not somewhere I would come as a family.
Following a family funeral, approx 35 people adjourned here. Excellent food & service were provided. Thank you to the staff.Food: 5/5
The place is good, but unfortunately, like other reviewers I found here, I received a parking fine. The very clear parking sign stated by Euro Car Parks is not that visible, and if you sit outside and order through the app, there is no way to know that I need to enter my car reg, nobody of the staff mentioned either, or on the website, and you have to pay on Sunday too. I also tried three times to phone to the pub asking for assistance, but nobody answered the phone.
The member of staff behind the bar was very good. We were served in a timely manner and he was very pleasant.Food: 4/5
Decent food, but our party were not informed there was a DJ. Loud and terrible music all evening. Nobody could hear, bar staff couldn’t hear orders. The DJ was asked multiple times by staff to turn down the volume, but apparently refused. Definitely will not be retuning and advise others to avoid.

Unfortunately the food was not particularly good - gammon on Sunday lunch today was curled up and dry and the miniature chicken drumstick was a peculiar colour . Also whilst there not one word uttered by any staff member -even when serving the plates of food I found this very odd indeed customer service training is needed- we ordered on line and one question was- would you like to leave a tip - er why ? Noone spoke to us !
