Friendly pub.

Story

Voted the best community pub in the area, Sport is shown on the large and plasma screens in the bar area with a well stocked bar offering quality beers. The lounge is an ideal place to retreat to and relax. With a 180 person capacity there is plenty of room for everyone. This is a proper adult pub with a trouble free, female friendly atmosphere. Situated in a quiet residential area, we are well worth seeking out to take advantage of our excellent entertainment and facilities. The staff come up with very imaginative ways of organising special entertainment which is held throughout the year. These include a weekly quiz night, theme and race nights are not to be missed and will ensure you come back to us time and time again. We hope to see you soon to offer you a great time!

We love the Highwood. The beer is cold and served how you like it. Great music too.
Few minutes walk away from my home, friendly people and nice atmosphere with the locals
It's ordinary, until you go to the toilet. If you're male and fortuitously stand under the cistern, expect two things: firstly, to get wet. Secondly, management to be amazingly unconcerned and jovial. Me, I'm wet and angry.
Not bad at all. Service dodgy sometimes. Poker and a quiz on Monday evenings
This was refurbished by new owners about a year ago. It was a Hell forsaken place before and now it's a perfectly okay local boozer. The front room lacks atmosphere but they've done really well with the back room. Compared to how it was, they've done well.
An excellent evening watching Pulsar and Space Monkey perform live.
Good car parking, friendly, limited selection of real ales. Good entertainment.
The very best local pub in Solihull. It has the cheapest and the best beer. That rarely goes together. Hopefully James and Jenny are given the chance to make a go of it by Green king...better than the miserable management at the hobs
