Whenever we visit Exeter we always stay here and always have an amazing stay. The only downsides this visit was the scaffolding on the outside of the building, the workmen outside our window that can't be helped so not marking down my review and the air conditioning didn't really cool down the room in the night so it was a bit too hot in the room however as usual the staff were lovely and the room was very clean and lovely! Will definitely be returning again soon!
Cheap well placed room.nQuiet room. Floor 4. One of the best showers in a hotel ever.nRooms rather warm but aircon eventually worked.nnOverall a pleasant stay.nnStaff took bags in as we had appointments. Friendly and helpful.
Exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn..fine..but apparently 2 years ago their car park shut.. which adds £18.20 per 24 hours for the nearest car park.. whichn.. well isn't near.nnThis should be made absolutely clear when you book and when you look up the venue on Google Maps. If you add on the additional cost then you could stay somewhere significantly nicer if you include the parking fee... or not be caught walking in the rain.nnCome on Premier Inn, you are a large chain and cashing in - be more transparent with your customers please!
location is convenient and close to the city centre, the rooms were clean, however mine was boiling hot. was informed that 19c is as low as the air con goes and there is no way to open the window. feels hotter than 19c, as if air con is not working proper. would prefer an open window. was promised a fan but never got one so was overheating at night.
Recently stayed for 3 nights.nGood points: Central location, low price, comfortable bed, unlimited breakfast at extra cost.nBad points: Ineffective air conditioning, windows locked shut by staff meaning hot, stuffy room at night. Hotel car park no longer available which incurred a £50+ additional bill for public car parks.nTo sum up, we won't use this hotel in future.
