My partner and I stayed here for a few days and we enjoyed it, the bed was nice and comfy,the room was slightly hot but we did have a fan in the room which we used. The bathroom was nice as was the shower, the room had everything in it that we needed. We had breakfast and evening meal which was very nice. The staff were very professional and friendly. The history of the hotel was very interesting to us. The hotel looked very beautiful inside and we would stay here again. Really had a good time.
Stayed here for 3 good nights. Service was top-notch, very helpful staff. I got the single room, yet still spacious enough. Amenities were complete, but only giving the room a 4/5 due to the creaking floorboards. The lobby has got a vintage vibe to it whereas the room was I should say a contemporary look. Hotel is conveniently just opposite the train station and pretty close by the high street. My room faces where the nearest pub is, so it was a bit noisy at night. I have only tried their classic house burger and it was so good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend it.
Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Beds were a little too soft but thats personal preference.nBreakfast was nice and lots to choose from.nStaff were attentive and professional.nLocation is excellent to Exeter centre.nThere is parking but it is limited. We did get a space for the days we were there.nOverall a nice hotel to have as our base for our trip.
Lovely hotel with great staff. The rooms are an amazing size.nThe rooms could do with aircon. The fans available were noisy, didn't work very well and since we didn't have a plug socket available in front of the bed, we plugged it in on the side so one of us was having a lot of cold air and the other wasn't.
I got a good deal staying here through an external site. But the gentleman on reception was extremely professional and upgraded us to a family room. Was quite warm and some noise outside but nothing unusual. Thank you top service went a long way.
