Stayed the night here as I had a gig in Exeter but couldn't get home. The room was really nicely decorated and the owners were very sweet, friendly and chatty. My room had a shower and bathroom in it even though it was a small single room. Had a great range of things in the room including a flatscreen and hair dryer. Plenty of crisp fresh towels and the bed was huge and really comfy. Really cheap for what you get! Didn't have time to stay for breakfast but the serve breakfast there as well. I would definitely go back again!

Friendly and helpful owner. Very nice bedroom with ensuite. If you need parking facilities give a call beforehand in order to know how it works as the owner has some guest parking permit and parking in general is very easy in the nearby premises.

Awful for the money. Was first greeted by a lady in her pjs, not the level of professionalism I expected. There was a stench in the hotel which we later realised was a dog smell, a very strong smell. The family room was absolutely tiny, we practically all slept next to each other. The pictures online are very deceiving, the guesthouse was not as nice as it looks online. Breakfast is served 8-9 on weekends, as a review previously stated - who wants to get up that early on a Sunday? Breakfast was okay, sausages were a little undercooked. Only thing salvageable was a good location, but there are many hotels/guest houses in that location. All in all, would not recommend. Avoid like the plague.

Very comfortable guesthouse and lovely host, very close to the town bars and restaurants, breakfast had a good choice and served in a lovely dinning room, would definitely return and recommend
