I would agree with earlier comments about beds and pillows could be better. I found the breakfast and the service excellent. Showers I feel are definitely effected by other hotel guest flushing blood etc. All said, the room was very clean and tidy. I had no problems with noise. I would stay again, but would softer pillows at least.

I stayed here at the beginning of August 2017 and found the staff were very friendly and helpful my room was clean and the bed comfortable my room was on the ground floor and I had not problem with noise and the breakfast was very good to start your day. The hotel was a short walk from town and other areas to visit that was very convenient for me as I didn't have a car. I recommend you stay here I would go back. I must mention if you want good fish and chips " The Fish and Chip Shop" is just a few steps away.

Friendly and very efficient eastern European staff. Rooms basic and dated with a stale odour. Agree with comments about noisy plumbing Breakfast good with excellent bacon. Overall okay if you're not expecting luxury.

Lovely breakfast. Room a bit small and dated. Stairs a bit steep. Good position, not far to walk to main shopping centre, train station and cathedral
