Always a hotel of our choice when we are down to support Exeter City. Walking distance to grounds.nnWr had a reasonably spacious room. Lovelyndecor and clean.nnHowever disappointed that for 10 minutes late checkout- charge is £10 - non negotiable. Receptionist said she does not make the rules. Come on a bit of flexibility and customer service goes a long way.

The on-site restaurant serves delicious dishes, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Leonardo. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Shift manager, Karen is a real asset to your team. Good beer on tap in the bar too! Highly recommended if you're staying in Exeter!
I came down to Devon for a one day trip. I traveled with my wife all the way from London.nnWas supposed to check out 11:45PM.nOne of their staff member called me to confirm the time of arrival. I increased her of arrival.nTo our surprise, when we arrived at the hotelnWe were informed that the hotel is full booked.nI spoke to the duty manager and told him that I prepaid in advance fully for the booking.nnThey offered us a room at a alternative hotel. We accepted with reluctance.nThere was another couple who came and just checked in.nI pointed out of duty manager but l was simply told that they only requested additional key to their room which was ridiculous. However, the harsh reality turned out to be that, for some strange reason the Hotel operates policy for not accepting asian customers and they were clearly checking in English customers. Very strange incident in a tourist heaven and hotspot like Devonshire.
They were lovely sized rooms, and they were very clean. Beds are very comfortable and lovely clean white bedding. Staff were very helpful and very friendly and helpful. Ideal location to city centre . And a great bonus is that once the windows are closed, there is almost no noise coming through from the traffic
