The hotel is located in a bit of an odd spot. It's not the easiest to get to. The reception area looked clean and tidy. Take some bottled water as the machine was very expensive.nnThe whole hotel had a very strong smell, not sure if it was a cleaning agent but it was really strong in all areas. The room we had was very tired indeed and the Aircon would only drop to 19 then turned off after a short while. The shower was great very powerful and always welcomed.nnCheckout was 12:00 so a bonus there. It's just a shame you have to pay to check in early, especially when the room is ready as they confirmed to us.nnOverall a tired hotel, but it did the job.
Stay at this hotel a few time it like any normal premier inn and what you expect, never have any complaints. What makes this hotel special are the management and staff, from cleaners to reception, kitchen they are all so happy in their work place and can't do enough for you, nothing is ever a bother. Best poached egg ever. We will be back
I had the pleasure of meeting Staci on reception who welcomed us with 5 star customer service. She was super friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. What a credit to Premier inn.nnAlso Isabelle at breakfast was friendly, helpful.nnI would highly recommend a stay here.nnMichelle Nolan.
This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Not only was the staff incredibly rude and unhelpful they forced us to pay another £120 on top of our £300 rooms upon arrival. The incredibly rude and hostel hotel staff Toni and Julie had a problem with us from the moment we set foot in the lobby. We booked a 4 person room for 4 and another 3 person room for the other 3. We had travelled 4 hours from London to Liverpool for the first time and rather being inviting and helpful Toni and Julie set out to make it the most uncomfortable experience ever. They would not let us check into our rooms until we payed another £120 on top of what we had already paid. The rooms that we was forced to buy was disgusting there was pubic hair everywhere in our bathrooms and dirt smeared up the walls. The heaters in all three rooms were broke and we froze all night long. When we arrived back to the hotel at 11pm we were stopped from coming into the hotel until they could prove that we were staying here even though they had made us wait over an hour to argue with us until we payed to check when we arrived. In the morning when we went to go complain Julie and another man was there we tried to complain but they just ignored us and was incredibly dismissive and did not seem to care about the state of there hotel. After them ignoring us the tall man began to scream and shout for us to leave for trying to complain. This is single handedly the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I would like to warn anyone who would want to stay here to save there money and book another hotel it’s not worth the money one bit. Toni and Julie should not be working front desk greeting people as these are the most horrible ignorant and rude hotel staff I have ever met. No one should be treat how we was when we first arrived.
Stayed in Birkenhead central premier inn on a Saturday night whilst being up for my aunt's 80th. Was welcomed into the hotel by Staci, who was absolutely lovely. Saw Staci again for the breakfast service where once again she was lovely. Her and the team on for breakfast were great even though I think the whole hotel decided to descend on them at the same time. The staff are a credit to Premier inn in this hotel. It was very busy. Thanks for a smashing stay. Look forward to staying again.
