Four of us stayed for 3 days and found nothing but positives. The staff are friendly & helpful and the bar well stocked all in a very pleasant environment. We had two evening meals during our stay, which were superb. There is a good choice for breakfast with good portions, this was included within the cost of the very sizable and clean rooms. Our room was on two levels and included a very spacious bathroom and double shower. Rooms also had triple glazing and AC We would most definitely return, as we thought it was a lovely hotel pub/restaurant & was good value for money.
It’s wonderful to arrive to a pub and have a delicious cooked dinner with a distinction! We went for the specials, Oven roast hake fillet with crushed new potatoes , braised orange fennel, white wine velouté and crispy kale. The other plate was Slow braised winter lamb shank with dauphinois potatoes, tender steam broccoli with red wine juice. Very attentive staff . Plenty spaces to be comfortable & enjoy your meal. I have been before, will be back Good parking area.
Big roadside pub on A39. Many rooms - this place is huge. Strange, low ceilings and eccentric lighting make for an odd feel. St Austell ales. Did not try food. There is some accomodation, and place has a slightly hotel-like feel. Fine if traveling, but not really to my taste.
The food is great and a strong selection of drinks. But the best thing about the Norway Inn are the staff. Incredibly helpful and friendly, a real asset to the pub.
Large dining area with a decent selection on the menu. Friday fish and chips were good value for the money. Will definitely go there again. Went for breakfast there was a good varied menu all at reasonable prices. Certainly recommend this place.
I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding, and we absolutely loved the place! The staff were so accommodating at every stage, including allowing late check-out so I could arrive at my ceremony on-time. In the morning, we couldn't get a taxi due to another big event taking place nearby and were panicking a bit, so one of the staff offered to give us a lift to the ceremony in the pub car, even though it took her two trips!! The rooms are much bigger than they look in the pictures; there was plenty of space for us all to get ready in the same room. The beds are massive and super comfy. And breakfast was absolutely delicious, again with super friendly staff, who even helped me to print a bunch of wedding programmes which I'd forgotten to print the day before. All my bridesmaids couldn't stop commenting about how much they loved the place. Highly recommended to stay here, and a massive thank you to all the staff for making my wedding morning so fantastic!
Stopped for breakfast , which was excellent, beautiful setting and right on the main road, well worth a visit.
Visited the Norway Inn whilst in holiday as we do every year. Booked dinner for my wife and me and had a really nice meal. The waitress was very helpful and friendly and we had a lovey table and very nice meal with excellent size portions. Would we go there again ! Definitely
THE best service and some lovely pub grub with a modern edge. Walked in last minute on our daughters birthday and they decorated her brownie, presenting her with balloons. The three girls on provided outstanding service, especially our waitress! The pie of the day is delicious, don’t miss out. Thank you so much for the little touches, it made our visit.
Fantastic pub. Really nice staff. Fast and friendly service. Good food
