We came here on our way back from Falmouth and will definitely be back to eat again. The home cooked curries were absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced and well presented. Nothing out of a tin here. We tried the lamb jalfrezi and fish & prawn coconut curry. Both were spot on. The Landlord and staff were particularly friendly and attentive in this cosy, dog friendly village pub. Beer and food are all at an excellent price. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area - just look out for the sharp turn in the road by the pub and up to the car park.
We visited this lovely old pub on the day that the new landlords Michelle and Wayne took over. Lots of great plans. Wishing them all the best. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent pub, excellent food, landlords great Lovely dog friendly pub, we went every day they were open, always friendly. It had only been open a month Food was excellent, lovely curries and superb steak, very well priced too
Lovely well kept local beer. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed our food. I had a children's portion of pasta as I don't like meat or chilli so could have done with a few more choices, but it was a tasty pasta. Big garden
Best pub lunch we've ever had! We had the seafood curry and the vegetarian nachos and every single item on our plate was homemade and tasted delicious. Even the presentation was amazing. Lovely staff who put out an umbrella over our table. Great little garden and plenty of parking. Highly recommended!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. There is a nice big car park around the back that you don't see from the main road. Definitely would recommend and we're going back.
What a find! The house specialty curries are something that an upmarket Indian in Soho would envy and the naan breads were particularly on point. Desert was the strawberry tart chocolate lined case with creme patissiere filling, perfectly balanced, with pastry that Delia herself would be proud of
Very friendly local pub, has local from the village, draught beers and gins. Good food as well. Made a perfect evening to sit and chat. We will be back very soon
Great pub. Local ales served by a proper landlord and landlady. Comfortable and welcoming.
Nice local with good choice of real ale. However, the key ingredient is the food. The landlady's chicken dhansak was out of this world. By far the best dhansak I've ever had, beating some of the best restaurants in London and Birmingham THE UK curry capital! Well worth the trip, will definitely be back again.
