Booked a night stay on New Years Eve, we had a meal which was absolutely delicious, all food cooked fresh & generous portions. We had a great evening seeing in the New Year previously been at a different venue but due to the lack of drinks choice we decided to go back to the Inn to celebrate the New Year. The staff were friendly, polite & very helpful. Lovely place, I would definitely recommend a visit.
Not the ideal time to judge a place, as was here for a funeral wake. However, the service seemed good, although only one person working the two bars, but then it was a Tuesday afternoon. Friendly chap behind the bar, the spread supplied was good, although a bit slow bringing the chips out... People had already left! I'd try again under happier circumstances.
We came for lunch on Easter Sunday, it was incredibly busy as to be expected but Luke, who served us, had a smile on his face for the whole visit and was really warm and friendly throughout. The food was great as always but Luke really stood out for us so thank you very much to him for making our visit such a pleasure. We’ll be back again soon!
A great place to eat . Ample parking. Staff really friendly and helpful. Service was good. Only gave 4 stars as they didn’t have what I wanted to eat. Hopefully they will next time I am there.
We booked a family meal yesterday evening for 7.30 pm. I chose to have a carvery, which proved to be very disappointing. The turkey was fine, the vegetables though were dry and tasteless as it would seem they had been sitting in almost empty serving trays far too long. The carvery closed almost immediately afterwards.
Excellent food in a very busy pub but service didn’t suffer at all. One of the best carveries I’ve been to in a long time. Well worth a visit if you’re in Threemilestone.
I'm a regular, or used to be, frequent the pub quite often with my dog. Now the food is awesome. The service... Some people clearly like there job... others are just there to do it. Now on this particular evening a member of staff not only was rude to me multiple times... But also judged my character. Now I don't have to but I am considered a vulnerable adult. I have a range of mental difficulties. I've been to the Vic a thousand times and there is not a problem. But someone to judge my character and behaviour on face value.. then talk down to me was... Shall I say demeaning. I will not be setting foot in this poor excuse for a early 00s pub for a long time because of the service and treatment I have received.
Booked a table for New Years Eve for 8 o’clock. Got there at 7.50. Was told the table was not available till 9 o’clock?. Then was told to sit at another table and start the meal, then move to the table, when it was vacated by the people on it. We planned to have our meal, then other friends were going to join us in the bar afterwards. We left. Thanks for spoiling our New Years Eve. Manager was not interested, and left it to a member of staff to deal with.
Been to Victoria Inn 3 times so far . And we've had the carvery 3 times and it's been amazing every time . Lovely atmosphere great service. Would recomme to anyone. Xx Food & drinks: Great food and very friendly staff
Sadly this was probably the worst carvery I've experienced, Turkey and pork, the turkey was just crumbs with no taste, and having been cut a very small slice of pork embarrassingly i asked for some more and got another tiny piece, which did taste lovely but just not enough, veg was OK, Yorkshire obviously frozen and stuffing like a cricket ball, have eaten here years ago and was excellent, sadly would not recommend, barman was friendly though.
