The New Wimbledon Theatre is simply stunning — an absolute masterpiece of architecture and a perfect setting for an unforgettable night out. From the moment you step inside, you’re struck by the beauty of the building — its elegant design, the intricate details, and the classic charm that takes you back to a golden era of theatre.nnI've been fortunate to see some incredible musicals here, and every time the experience has been flawless. The acoustics, the stage, the atmosphere — everything comes together perfectly. You feel completely swept away into the world of the performance, thanks to the theatre’s warm, intimate feel and impeccable layout.nnThe staff are always welcoming and helpful, and the whole experience, from arrival to curtain call, is a joy. It's rare to find a venue that delivers on every level, but the New Wimbledon Theatre truly does.nnIf you love musicals, beautiful surroundings, and a perfect night out, this venue is a dream come true. I can't recommend it highly enough!
I’ve been twice in as many weeks and I’ve booked another show here, love this theatre. It’s got such a cosy feel and the staff are lovely. As a person with a nut allergy, I really appreciate that they check for nut products in people’s bags upon entry. The interior is charming and seats are a bit old but it’s okay. I have had the best time and can’t wait to return!
Always consistently amazing theatre. It’s a beautiful building. Find majority of staff very helpful especially for performances aimed at children. We try to go 2-3 times a year, always for panto. This year Joe Pasquale in Jack and the Beanstalk was phenomenal-I didn’t know he was that funny! Visit if you can.
I love this theatre! The size is just right, not so large and sprawling that you feel you need binoculars, yet not too small. The staff are friendly and surprise, surprise, I didn't have to wait an age to get served at the bar! You're allowed to take drinks to your seats no glass. I didn't know you could preorder drinks in advance, online only, and get them brought to your seat! Will do next time for sure. It's relatively easy to get to depending on your location, obviously, and a large number of pretheatre cafes, pubs, and restaurants in the immediate area. Well done, @wimbledonnewtheatre ! Till the next time. P.S. looks fab by night!nThe Illegal Eagles were simply, SUPERB! 100% recommend them! What a lovely theatre!nnThis theatre has all it's original charm and is well preserved.nnWe were lucky enough to watch 2 Disney films to a live orchestra and the venue was perfect.nnThe sound of the orchestra was amazing in the venue and the old charm of the place just added to our experience.nnA good choice of old bars and whilst the drinks and snacks were somewhat pricey I think it's to be expected in that type of venue.
