Best Hotel stay ever!! The dining area is the cleanest place I've ever dined at. The food was interesting and absolutely delicious!! The restaurant feels cosy despite being quite large. The breakfast is fantastic, the best ever, they have everything!! Even corn bread rolls!! It's all very relaxing and you can help yourself to whatever you want. Proper coffee and mocha machine where you can help yourself!! The room we stayed in was nice but above a small exit and smokers were in and out of it all night!! Banging the door, but I don't think there's much that can be done about that, smokers will be smokers. If I went back, I would ask to not be put near that door. The only thing we didn't like was the tea, coffee kettle tray in the room.. It's away in a cupboard and you have to fetch it out, which just seemed a bit cumbersome, but the room was very pleasantly decorated, bed was comfy and everywhere was spotless. The wee bottles of gels and shampoo smell devine!! I absolutely will return here.

We went on a Groupon offer for a spa day with 2 course lunch & prosecco, and two treatments included. Good value for money because of the lunch and treatments. The spa area is very limited and comprises of a small sauna and a stream room, a relaxation room and a few treatment rooms. There's no pool unfortunately. But I was there to catch up with a friend and it was lovely afternoon 🙂

The best thing about this place is the staff. They were all very polite and helpful, from the reception to the bar to the service staff. 
Couple of things you may want to consider however:
The food was not a great standard. I heard that the beef cheeks were tasty but the salmon was OK and the mushroom main was more of a salad. The mushroom soup was watery and not at all tasty. For me, the bread and butter was the best part of the meal. Sorry to say.
I bought a round of drinks at the bar and whilst a Bulmers was £5, a bloody mary was £10. Unnecessary pricing for tomato juice and vodka. Coffee wasn't ideal either. 
I'm sure the spa is nice but I wouldn't recommend coming here for dinner.

Excellent restaurant food was very good , nice clean rooms just a bit dark , friendly staff. I would recommend

Nice lounge area. Lovely lunch as part of spa day. No jacuzzi or pool though. Used the sauna and steam room.
