Hotel feels quite premium despite being very affordable. Common areas and rooms have modern decor and are well kept and clean. The complimentary breakfast has a fairly limited selection but is of good quality. Nearby council parking is free from 6pm on Saturday until Monday morning, which is convenient. The hotel is 10 minutes on foot to the train station, so location wise it's quite good.

The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The decour was nice and no marks on the walls. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. We keep staying here as it's so close the A1 for an overnight stay.

Nice modern hotel. Pretty good value and very friendly staff. The parking is over the road at Matalan and is subsidised by the hotel (£4 over night, added to your room). As well as their own food, you can also eat next door or even have an Indian meal delivered to the hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern

Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel in a great location right on the edge of the town centre. Very clean and new/fresh. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is that the breakfast isn't great - continental breakfast OK but the cooked eggs and sausages were terrible. However, the breakfast is free and there are numerous options close by. No free on site parking, but car park next to the hotel is only £4 for the stay (you pay whenever you leave, so pricy if you come and go a lot but great if you just leave it for the duration of the stay. Also, there's a decent gym next door that costs £3 for hotel guests.

Great little place. Room was clean. Very cold when we first went in but was soon put right. Breakfast was good
