Typical Holiday inn express. Very clean rooms and everything you need. Parking is very limited and you will be lucky to find a space. The lifts were bizarre. I was on Lower Ground and only one lift would take me there but when you pressed the single button more often than not the left lift would appear so you had to send that up and then quickly press to get the right lift for the LG. Good cooked breakfast and comfy beds. Noisy on LG with bin emptying so try and avoid.
It's a great hotel. Spotlessly clean, good food, although the menu is very limited, which is a good job actually as this hotel is badly understaffed. The fantastic staff that are there work their socks off. They work far too hard, struggling to keep up with the demands of the visiting guests. Please IHG stop looking at your profit margins, and start thinking about creating a calm and enjoyable place to qork and stay. Help is required here. Your excellent staff need your support. Mr Robert Nunn, Wirral.
The hotel is in need of modernization, breakfast was the best, sausage were overcooked and the muffins were stale. The location is brilliant and the staff were very friendly. If you are traveling by car they have an arrangement with Asda.
Poor for a big branded hotel. Room smelt of cigarettes and cigarettes butts under the bed. The cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. Breakfast was ok for the simple fact that it’s included. Location is ok but no parking so you have to park in Asda across the main road.
Great location if you want to save on costs of London hotels as train station is a short walk away with plenty of trains to London. Breakfast is included, cooked and continental and it's good in quality.
