Milgi is a neighbourhood plant based restaurant and bar.

EAT
We have a passion for natural food. Our plates are nourishing but, our focus is firmly on everyday eating and creating dishes that are satisfying and flavour rich.

DRINK
Our distinctive style keeps things simple yet creative with a firm focus on natural flavours. We make the best natural cocktails in Cardiff and have a great selection of craft beer.

Our garden and yurt (Mongolian canvas tent) is open all year round. If you are looking for a party space with a difference - get in touch.

Absolutely amazing food when you can get a seat. We called at 2pm to book a table. I was told they were fully booked until 9pm so I settled for a table at that time. Arrived and was then told our reservation was a bench, chest high. Asked the lady for a table and was then told the restaurant was fully booked so a table was not possible. WHEN SOMEBODY CALLS 7 HOURS BEFORE AND WHEN YOU TAKE A RESERVATION, THE CUSTOMER WILL EXPECT A RESERVATION. Not to just be slung in the corner of a chest high bench

Our last two visits have been disappointing. The Thali was so bad on the last occasion that we couldn't eat it. Boiled lumps of courgette in what can only be described as green water was embarrassing. The daal was ok but nothing like a daal. The cocktails normally the saving grace were poor possibly due to the fact the regular person was not working. All in all very disappointed especially at £100 plus.

I just wanted to try something in vegetarian but not of Indian or continental cuisine. Found this place in trip advisor with good reviews and visited on an evening after a long day of roaming around in the city center and walking. I was really hungry , so ordered a herbal tea and TORTILLA STACK - the tea was great and the main course was quite filling. If you are looking for very nice taste, this is not the place, but if you are looking to eat something really healthy and different, you can give it a try.

All vegetarian restaurant with 90% of food Vegan friendly. Really chilled out atmosphere. Food was great, I'm not a Vege/Vegan but didn't so much as give meat a second thought with all of the interesting flavours going on throughout the dishes. Great place to go for a relaxed casual night out.

Yummy food in my tummy! Got recommended some tasty beer with my meal and the atmosphere is really relaxed with beautiful plants hanging everywhere. I had the Tortilla Snack which was very tasty, well presented and filling! 👍
