We had a great stay! The room was spacious, clean and very modern. The smart TV was a plus so we could watch all of our shows while away from home. The beds were very comfortable and room was clean. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help when we needed or and bring up anything we requested. Great location as well with loads of restaurants and entertainment. We will stay again when in London.
An overnight visit for a birthday found us in this quirky cool hotel. The service at the desk was helpful and friendly. The rooms were great. Clean and fresh. The age of the building makes for very noisy floors and you hear the people above you walking. You also hear the people in your room walking so the people below you hear when you are moving too. Overall it really was a pleasant stay, the bed was comfortable and it was a spacious room. Rooms: Clean and well appointed Nearby activities: Heart of downtown London. So close to the Grand Theatre and restaurants Walkability: Within walking distance of many things.
Hotel Metro is my favourite spot for a staycation. Located in the heart of downtown London, Hotel Metro offers a luxury retreat close to popular amenities such as the Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens. I have had some of the best sleeps of my life here on their Vera Wang mattresses and loads of pillows. The deep bath tub is an absolute dream. Other bonus features include individually temperature controlled rooms, light dimmers and many accessible electrical ports. The front desk staff are courteous and accommodating 24 hours a day. I have always been able to get an early check in and a late check out.
Great hotel stay. My wife and I live locally, but wanted to have a getaway for the night. The location is close to all downtown amenities. Service was fast and friendly. Our king room was clean and had everything we needed. Even covered our parking cost underground at the market close by.Rooms: 5/5

Rooms are modern, and the layout is very romantic. The only downside is the parking as you need to park at the market but overall not that bad.Rooms: 5/5
What a beautiful hotel! However, the bed was like sleeping on a rock. It was easily the worst nights sleep I've ever had.
Room was modern and clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is an issue, as downtown London has lots of drug use so that was concerning.
Address on Google Map: It is suggested to report data content or erros on Google Maps. The app took me to the back entrance. It was hard to find the correct address. Also, replace the sink drain pipes. They are yo small. It should be 1 1/2 in building design issue.Rooms: 5/5
How is this place legally allowed to call themselves a hotel? If you're expecting to be outside for the most part of your stay, not arriving by car, and just need a simple place to crash and shower, this would be a good choice. If you need literally any other thing that a hotel is known to provide, this is a big mistake. -NO onsite parking you cant move your car in/out after entering the garage without being charged -I booked a room with a queen bed and it was smaller than most studio apt 300 sq ft -the walls are so thin i could hear every single word the other rooms tv was playing -the essential ammenities like toilet paper are quite literally the cheapest you can buy -the bed sheets were un-usable due to being so dry/rough they would cause rashes on your skin -for some reason the hold charge is $150??? all the items in the entire room arent worth that much. The location is ideal, and the staff are very nice but simply put. It is a nice, upscale hostel, nothing more.
