quick and convenient stay!! stayed here using their day rate which is a great option for travelers needing a place to rest for a few hours between stops or in my case when you arrive many hours early and your airbnb isn’t read until later in the afternoon. the room was very clean and comfortable, although a bit small for the rate paid. the staff was very kind and helpful. the stay itself wasn’t anything special however; i left a small sentimental object in my room when i checked out in a hurry and the staff held onto it and made sure i got it the next day. it meant a lot that they took care of it and helped me retrieve it. i would have been so heartbroken to have lost it.
This hotel is in a great location, it is in the middle of everything. The rooms are clean and comfy, a little noisy if you are facing the station but it didn’t disrupt my sleep. The service was amazing and Abdul on reception was very helpful and accommodating.Rooms: 3/5
Room was nice and the area was very reliable. The staff were kind, balas was really helpful so was Charel who helped me with my luggage to my room. He was awesome! Overall very nice hotel if you’re travelling from abroad.Rooms: 5/5
I love the proximity of this hotel to Paddington Station. Like literally next to it. With this, going around London is a breeze! Our room was a bit small but provided the basic necessities. A lot of food and shopping in front of the hotel and in the area. Staff were courteous and polite as well. Will definitely go back here when I have the chance!
Wonderful stay with my new friends at the Mercure Paddington. They were helpful, courteous, and kind. The room was just right for a single traveler nice and comfy and not too small. The desk and bell staff treated me like family and made the trip so enjoyable. Highly recommend. Rooms: Just right Walkability: Right next to Paddington and easy to get around
Just needed one night between arriving at Heathrow and departure from Paddington Station by train next morning. Perfect location at Paddington Station, room was fine for two given that most London rooms seem to be smaller than us Aussies are used to, breakfast restaurant was great, staff very helpful. Top marks to Claudio who looked after luggage for an extended period when some other plans changed unexpectedly. Great stay.
We travelled to London for a game. After having a really bad experience at another hotel we booked the Mercure Paddington at the last minute. The hotel is great. Good value, decent twin rooms in a great location. Best of all was the service Abdul checked us in and was brilliant, the staff generally really looked after us.Rooms: 4/5
We booked a Petite Room for one night, we knew it would be small and was perfectly serviceable for a couple for one night or if your on your own would be fine for a couple of nights. Location is perfect for paddington station as we had come from heathrow and were leaving the next morning to go down south on the train. Staff were friendly and would recommend for an overnight stay.
The bed was very comfortable. The staffs were generally nice and friendly, especially the male staff works in the morning shift. But the black female staff was not responsive and impatient. She was only looking at the computer screen and at last other staffs came and helped. Another thing was that you might hear noise of the train from your room. You can also hear noise from the neighbouring rooms. I still recommend this hotel as the location is convenient. It’s located next to the station with lots of restaurants nearby. They provided free drinks and snacks in the room too.
The hotel offered excellent value for money. The location was very accessible to public transport system. The room was adequately equipped. The staff Balazs and Oltita were very polite and courteous. Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5
