Customer service is excellent. The location is quite remote and almost difficult to find but that can be overcame. The rooms are quite antiquated but are comfortable and for the price point, the services we are entitled to are amazing. There were issues with some rooms but the staff remedied them swiftly and gave a complimentary upgrade. Rooms: Quite antiquated
The Christmas party event we went to was fabulous. Excellent dinner and service with happy smiley staff. Free wine with the meal. The decorations were absolutely stunning. There was a free photo booth which was a great hit, fun and very popular with my Solent Socialising club members who went along; 24 of us. The disco was very good only issue was some of the tunes were dated. The hotel rooms were outstanding; clean, roomy, warm, spacious, tea and coffee, large tv, bath & shower, great view out of the window, quiet. The leisure facilities swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room were all included in the price together with a eat as much as you can breakfast fried and continental on offer. Overall a fantastic exceptionally good experience. Well done to Sophia and her team.
Enjoyed the benefit of spending a night at this hotel, it's tucked away which is ideal for the getaway where you're not bothered by city life. The rooms are spacious with attention paid to its cleanliness which is totally important The service from the front of house staff matches the professionalism one would expect and friendly young man was proof of that. If you are into golfing then look no future. It is safe to say, this hotel has my heart - Good Vibes
The staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were well supplied and comfortable. Service was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Location wasn't exactly the best as the nearest mall was around 30 mins away but many takeaways and grocery stores / convenience stores were close by. Overall very good experience and would visit again :
I stayed here with some mates for a couple of days on a golf break. The golf course is good, if in need of a little mowing. The hotel....well its an embarrassment. Front door broken for the whole trip. Broken room furniture. Paint and wall paper peeling everywhere. One of our party had a smell in their room and discovered old pizza and dirty towels in their wardrobe. Knee high weeds. Carrier bags of used booze bottles by an outside bin for two days. Food average at best; two of our party had tummy upsets. Young staff meaning well but clearly lacking any kind of leadership. This used to be a Marriott, they sold to Britannia who have a reputation of running hotels into the ground; this is a prime example. Of course its been a difficult time for the hospitality business, but that doesn't mean not trying. This is branded an Elite venue. They have to be kidding.
Great price for a short stay, even more worth the cost with being pet friendly. A lot of the guests seem to expect way more service than they’re paying for. All staff on reception are extremely friendly, they go above and beyond expectations. Always look forward to being greeted by reception, especially the mid day & night shift staff.
The hotel is lovely but tired. Once you start looking at the small details you start to see its age. Mold in the bathroom, broken light switches and stains on the ceiling... The other thing I find hard to believe is the check in and check out times. 4pm check in and 10am check out is rubbish... 3pm - 11am at the minimum!!! Staff were brilliant and a great help throughout.
Spent a lovely night at this hotel for a friend's wedding at nearby Wickham Estate. Room was excellent and very reasonably priced. Staff were polite and helpful. Went for a swim in the morning, which was a bonus.Rooms: 5/5
More like a 1 star B&B, worn & torn bedding and towels, sour milk served at breakfast, room not made up told only done every 3 days, reception staff totally unhelpful when reported safety concerns with regards to children belonging to staff spinning main rotating door, chairs seat covers in bar & grill in tatters, litter everywhere. Would have been better off sleeping in the car.
This is my 3rd time at Meon Valley hotel and I love it. I buy the group on voucher, which is super reasonable. The staff are amazing, of note is Elaine her service and massage are outstanding. The spa and gym are great.Service: 5/5
