Nice small M&S food hall, also use click and collect for clothes. Problem is all self service. Always 5 or 6 staff trying to make themselves appear busy, usually chatting to each other.
We mostly visit at wkends or after work for small bits.nGeneral shop floor staff are good, not massively hello type, but non offensive and helpful if needed.nSadly there is 1 member of the hygiene / cleaning team mopping before store closed, but you can tell wants the store to be closed who has an unkind and unfortunate energy.nThey/he seems selective in attitude too I've seen being v welcoming to someone asking for help with finding an item.nIt is not a great for customers to reconsider entering your shop when you have such a person represent your brand.nif you are unhappy, I promise it isn't me simply needing to walk down an isle!
Staff members are very well trained and educated. Security as well. Saying thank you and bye everytime when you go out. Everything fresh. Expensive comparative with the other shops but quality.
Lovely local if not a bit small local M&S.nSurprisingly good range given the size. Friendly helpful staff.
Had a negative experience when newly opened with one particular employee singling me out and making remarks about me whilst shopping which was an obvious racist incident never the less I still continue to shop here for those last min quick grabs and have had a pleasant experience since. It’s a shame the in this day and age that people still feel like they are above others.
