I have stayed in some really nice places, but this place tops them all. Without doubt the best decor of the highest quality, the most helpful host's with great knowledge of the area, best restaurants, places of interest etc, I cannot praise them enough. The views from the room were spectacular and I'm very sorry to be leaving after two superb days, please, if you are in this area, make sure you stay here
A warm welcome from owners from booking through to arrival and throughout stay. Stunning location and accommodation, with beautiful scenery and delicious eateries within walking distance.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely warm welcome and this honestly felt, during our time in Milford, like the most inclusive space we encountered. This was where we found other queers, other BAME people and a vibe that didn't feel provincial or small-town in any way. We were allowed to eat inside with pupkin, in the back room, and we ate well. See pics. Burrata was melty perfect. Smoked tofu tacos were fun. Local fish was beautifully cooked and presented. On a return visit, this would be the place we'd head to first.
Only had food in restaurant. It was seafood and chorizo paella and I was violently sick and diarrhea about 4 hours later. We were sat in a conference room too which had no view whatsoever and the table was wobbly
Fabulous quiet location overlooking the seafront with amazing views from our room. The owners were lovely Mandy shared lots of local information. Our 'Needles room' was small and compact and ideal for us and attention to detail was high class beautiful bed side lamps, luxury throws, the boat made on the toilet roll, a fridge, with real milk and condiments. Really clean, would highly recommend a visit, the sound of the sea on the balcony was the best for me on my Birthday morning. We also hired bikes and road the solent way to Lymington and walked to Hurst Castle. We will be returning. Thank you.
This hotel is absolutely lovely. The owners are so nice and helpful. Full of information and nothings too much trouble. Lovely and clean and stunning views from all rooms out to sea. The raft rocks restaurant for breakfast is not too bad but does need improving with quality tea bags and proper marmalade but also the breakfast we found smelt of fish and garlic in the pans as they are used for the evenings meals so a plate for breakfast is our suggestion. Just little things to complete the high standard that the hotel offers. Will be back.
Great location. Our room Dolphin Bay was spacious. En suite bathroom with walk in shower greatly appreciated. Very comfortable bed. Nice touch was fresh milk in the room fridge to make tea. Breakfast in Faros restaurant very good too.
Just back from The Marine. It's an amazing place to stay offering a select number of lovely rooms that are modern, fresh and offer all that you need for a fabulous few days escape including the impressive Hurst Suite that has its own self catering option and wonderful balcony with stunning views. Your stay is looked after by a welcoming, relaxed yet attentive team that are as much or as little as you need, allowing you the freedom to come and go to what feels like your very own heavenly seaside space. There is a simple beach cafe serving meals and drinks and also the fine dining option of The Blue Horizons restaurant. But what makes this place truly unique and outstanding is a location that is second to none. The views over the Isle of White are breathtaking and you are literally a few steps from the beach and seafront walks. A truly great place to spend a few magical days.
Lovely B & B right on the seafront. Our room was at the back of the building but still had a view across the to the sea. Warm welcome by our host who showed us not only the room but the sunroof we could use, had the weather been warmer. Only dropped one star because, although the breakfast was great we were asked to pay for the second cup of coffee as it was taken at the restaurant below which was not owned by our host. Seemed a bit mean considering the boutique nature of the place reflected in the price. All in all a lovely place to stay.
Superb, we have had past pleasure of staying in 3 of the rooms and they are all the 5 star plus. Great sea front location.
