Nice bar and staff when we came into bar were so welcoming. My wife and I ordered food at approx 5;45pm and when the food came out about 20/25 later it looked gorgeous BUT when I taste it the food was cold. I tasted my wife's who had gone to the bathroom and her food was colder than mine. I asked the waitress to take our food back because it was cold and her reply was this plate is a bit warm here. I in formed the young lady that the plates were cold
We came for the food but stayed for the atmosphere.nThe first night we came, it was packed, but we sat and had a few drinks while we waited. The staff made us feel so comfortable and at ease.nWhen we were sat, they seen to us promptly and politely. The food was great and ticked all the boxes for us.nWhen my partner started to not feel well, they were considerate and accommodating. We promised to come back the next day for the dessert we didn't have.nWhen we came back the next night, they remembered us and saw to us quickly, and the dessert was worth the wait!nFor anyone coming outside of Scotland, this is the place to get a feel for the best of our culture.nWe stayed for the live music and had a great last night in Skye.nThank you to the staff, we'll see you again.
Only used the restaurant but it was fantastic. Went in with our 6 month old and 2 reactive dogs. Saw some other reviews about queues etc but maybe that’s just summer time. Went in, immediately greeted by staff who were friendly to our dogs., chatted away to us about life, ordered when we were ready, food came within 5 minutes.nThe food itself was amazing. I’m a fussy vegetarian so I like vegetarian haggis but wanted my partner to eat the neeps and tatties. But the way they cooked it, with the nice whisky sauce, I devoured it allnCould not complain about the Veggie Burger eithernHonestly, great experience
They have a vegan soup of the day as starter, vegan Haggis, vegan burger and vegan lemon and courgette linguine. They also offer a vegan chocolate cake. Overall, quite a few vegan options! We tried the linguine and it was quite good, it even had some vegan cheese.nThe servers are also very friendly :nPrices are not low but ok having in mind it's a touristic place.
Came for their food and it was so good. Has the fish and chips and it was fried to perfection and the fish they use is fresh too. I like their tartar sauce which compliments well with the F&C.nnWaiter and waitress were friendly as well.
