Room was small but OK. Hot. Turned off the radiator and opened window with fan for our entire stay. On second floor actually the third with no lift. Don't book if you can't carry your luggage up three flights of stairs. Perfect location for exploring Skye.
My friends and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Great service and the food was amazing! Special mention for the gnocchi, mussels, haddock and scotch egg. I had a single room, which was small, as expected, but comfortable. My friends had a super king deluxe room, which was simply stunning. Would 100% recommend.
Lovely old hotel right in the heart of Portree. As with any older hotel, the room was small but very comfortable. Close to many restaurants and shops, and across from the bus station. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Service was friendly and helpful. Earplugs recommended as it looks out on a busy tourist area with lots of bars. No elevator for those with mobility issues, but in our case, we managed the one flight of stairs, and staff were very helpful with our bags.
Such a cute hotel! The room was very spacious and all features you could want are there. It’s a great location in Portree in town square close to parking, with restaurants and shops next door. Great location for a Skye adventure as well. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend!
I only called in for lunch during a minibus tour and was fortunate in that the bus stopped at the bus station right by the hotel. The timing was good but check in advance if you have more special plans.nOnce inside, against my normal, I was tempted by the special cocktails on the board. My chosen one went down very smoothly.
