I have been using Magnum for a little while now but I need to write this review after the service I've been receiving these last 2 weeks. I broke my hip 2 weeks ago and am now on crutches. I have been to a lot of hospital appointments and every driver that has taken me to or from the hospital has been absolutely amazing! They can't do enough to help me, they make sure I don't struggle to get in and out of the taxi and that my crutches are safe too. The drivers are always friendly and courteous and are always up for a nice chat! I've had a laugh with the odd driver here and there and they are all so polite. As a Uni student, I half expect them to take longer routes for more pay as I don't know the area too well butt hey are always taking the fastest and safest route on the day taking traffic and roadworks into consideration so that I don't miss my appointments. I always tip my driver because of the service but I wanted to do more, so I thought I would pop a review here so everyone can see just how amazing the staff are. Thank you Magnum
I am a regular customer with Magnum, and use countless taxis. Only with the odd lateness. Which is to be expected from time to time with Road works and premium times. I can only say Magnum do their utmost to give me a reliable service. Most drivers are extremely pleasant and helpful. I would recommend the service. I even left my phone in the car, and the driver bought it back to where he had dropped me off. Amazing! The automated service can be a bit frustrating, but an operator is always available if struggling. Thank you magnum. All the best in 2023
We booked a taxi and it was on time, friendly , speedy and well priced and it fitted a wheelchair in, but this time as they did not listen ,when i told them it had to be an estate or an MPV, the wheelchair had to go in the car on top of one of the passengers as the car was a saloon, Apart from that I would recommend them
I do not normally use taxi service but today I had too. The service was excellent the driver turned up 10 minutes before the time I’ve booked. He was friendly, very chatty and he had good manners. If I have I will use magnum again, especially this driver.
Charged £7 plus for a journey that normally cost around £4.50 at most. Indeed, that's how much I paid on the return journey with my usual company. Magnum were called in error, due to putting themselves at the top of a quick Google search. Extraordinarily, scenic route. Will not be using again
I am disabled and have had hundreds of medical appointments since January. I've tried all taxi services in Stoke-on-Trent including the dire hospital transport service which I've given up on. Then I found Magnum. They have NEVER let me down and I trust them totally. Clean cars, courteous drivers and ALWAYS on time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED with thanks.
Terrifying. I booked my taxi 4 hours earlier. Was not told on the phone that it was cash only. If I had been told, I would have had cash and it wouldn't be a problem. The operator on the phone trying to charge me more than the taxi driver. Stating there was a charge for paying by card or over the phone. The taxi driver repeatedly asked me to pay. I said I would pay happily the correct amount by card. They wouldnt let me out of the taxi and said I was being unreasonable. I simply didn't have cash on me, they wanted to take me somewhere else to get cash out, in which case I would have missed my train. I became very scared. Called the police to come and help let me out of the taxi. I will pay over the phone the correct amount and no more. I will never use this company again.
The driver was taking the longest route and missed my drop off twice. Charged me still.can you get drivers that know what they are doing. Driver in the silver car with plate # starting with silver toyota XFZ 95 is dodgy. Didnt appreciate what he did. Ive used you since 2007 and this has been my worst experience to date
Feeling nervous about a hospital appointment, I was advised not to drive for my procedure. So I needed a reliable taxi service to get me there on time. Having read the reviews for this taxi service, I put my trust in them to arrive on time and to collect me. Which they did. They arrived on time and were polite and caring. This made for a stressful appointment run smoothly. Thank you.
Magnum Private Hire is really the best taxi firm in stoke on trent. I booked an airport taxi to Manchester Airport and got a really competitive quote. The service was excellent, the executive taxi cab really made the experience. Will definitely book in the future if I need a minibus taxi.
