Just to be aware that I use the station regularly and park by bike in secure bike shed on platform 2/car park 3. Unfortunately, not secure enough as got back today and someone had manged to get in and had stolen my bike seat. Thankfully it was locked with a secure lock so just the seat and seat post stolen.
What lovely considerate staff. On my way to Birmingham International, flying out to Spain. I had 3 very large bags and was wondering how to get them on the train without bothering anyone. Along came this nice gentleman staff and offered to help not only carry the bags but all the way over to the other side if the platform. Then when the train arrived another member of staff pops out from nowhere and kindly offers to help me put them on the train..and in the perfect location. Keep up the good work Stoke on Trent and a big THANK YOU
Went today to pick my grandson up from stoke on trent railway station got there no where to park!! so drove onto the car park didn't know how to go about paying for parking was only going to be there for about 10 mins, went into the station and found a railway employee who was really helpful sorted it out for me so I didn't have to pay the £12.50 charge you have 20 mins free.nNice to talk to an actual person instead of a machine! Thanks so much for all your help really appreciate it very nice man a shame I didn't get is name !!
I'm a bit shocked at some of the reviews and was expecting to find rude staff everywhere, this couldn't be further from the truth! I had the pleasure of dealing with Stephanie, she was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. She's a credit to the company. I also briefly spoke to a chap on the opposite platform who also greeted me warmly and was also helpful.
We would like to thank very much indeed, the excellent Avanti staff who helped my husband and myself with arriving and departing Stoke station. We used Passenger Assistance which we would highly recommend for disabled travellers. The staff were kind, helpful and courteous. Thank you.
