I use these a lot and Monday I had the taxi driving shouting at me saying that I’ve started this argument when hadn’t and today this taxi driver just got to my house and rang and cancelled my taxi with out giving me time to get out the house and then he been on his phone. Thinking of using a different taxi for now on
Don't even deserve a 1 star. And all the staff need sacking. I am so appalled at your service this morning. I had 2 children and we were stranded at a farm. They refused to check the postcode on their phones and was saying the postcode didn't exist however everyone I was with found the farm with that postcode. Long story short, told them a road that my dad would be waiting at to make it easier and they still couldn't find him apparently. The taxi driver had the complete wrong postcode in his sat nav to what I gave on the phone. Every time I rang they said they would send a car. 20/30 mins go by, still nothing so I call back and they say yeh driver couldn't find it. No phone call to let us know or anything. 3 times this happened. We were at n Air b&b that didn't serve food, so basically my children didn't get fed until nearly 1pm today because of the staff and the drivers. Where we were, was directly opposite another road, told them that road, and they said there is no road opposite it, I was looking directly at my maps and travelled that way myself so I knew damn well there was. They just couldn't be bothered. We used then the night before with no problem, charged £6. When this taxi finally turned up today he charged my dad £10 to go the same distance. My children were crying upset, in a strange place hungry and thirsty as there was nowhere for us to get food or drink at this place and we had nothing but problems from this taxi service. I've never felt so stranded in my life. Not one apology. Clearly bred differently because they seem to be quite thick not very clever at all.
APPALLING customer service, taxi came late and after waiting out side looking for them, after the app had notified us that the taxi had arrived, they just drove past and cancelled the ride, rang them and told them the circumstances to be spoken to like s*** in a sarcastic manner. No respect shown. Swearing and screaming down the phone, absolutely disgusting. wouldn’t recommend to anybody using this so called ‘service’. Absolutely fuming but mostly shocked with the way me and my partner were spoken too. Can’t believe it, however never again.
Just called a taxi. Used this taxi firm every time my friend calls round. Usually no problem. Waited tonight with curtains open. Saw car drive past my property. Called to ask where taxi was to be told the taxi drove past several times. Called back again and was hung up upon. Great service from a rude telephone operator. He must really enjoy his job.
Left my phone in the taxi on a sunday, was dropped off at the rank almost instantly and was able to collect it without any issue, got picked up by a taxi person also from the taxi rank and they dropped me off as well. All the service was helpful, no issues just me being impatient but the agents were sound
We've been using these guys pretty every weekend for a year now and the drivers are great. No complains there. The app's pretty good too but we found we'd been left with a "we've got your booking" message for up to 30mins and would have to call instead to try and get something sooner - sometimes meaning we were late to gigs. We've been left stranded too, but this was on busy weekends at peak times such as 1am so that's forgivable. However, what shocked us was on Tuesday night when we tried to book a 7-seater out of Hanley at around 11pm. The app couldn't find a ride so we called and were told one was on the way. Nothing arrived so we called to find out they had no 7 seaters on at all, so we asked if they can send two cars and we'll break the group up - effectively willing to pay double. Despite being assured two cars were on the way, neither arrived. Having now been waiting close to an hour, we called again to ask what was going on and express our frustration with the situation particularly beeingn told vehicles were on the way when they clearly weren't. The operater stated "I don't care", and when we said we'd stop using them if they didn't send something soon, he said "Don't threaten me, pal". I get that it can't be easy to run an operation like this and groups larger than four are logistically tougher. I get that sometimes there just isn't a vehicle there to send. I just don't understand the lack of communication, honesty, and professionalism. We'd have absolutely understood if there were no 7-seaters and there was a delay if we'd been told upfront about it. For those wondering, yeah, we used Uber and got two cars down there within ten minutes.
RiIPPED OFF Well what a joke city centre taxi’s are had a £20 note and a £5 note in my bag got 3 quid in change out my purse the fare was £7.80 so grabbed what I thought was the fiver - it’s pitch black outside came in seen the fiver in my bag rang the company straight away…. The operative said u should of asked him to put the light on it was on in the front of the car it as still dark in the back it’s going to be your word against his I know what money I had times are hard, Ring me back in five mins rang back… no the driver says you gave him £5 and 3 coins WTF… so there’s nothing I can do about this???? That’s theft surely
Used City Centre last night after a night out in Alsager. Taxi arrived on time and we received a text to inform us what car it would be. Driver was friendly and pleasant. Would recommend. Thank you sorry didn’t get your name, it was a white merc
My sister who has used this taxi firm frequently used a taxi earlier this week and was mocked to her face for wearing a helmet in which she NEEDS because she has seizures and FND and without warning will hit the deck, this driver proceeded to laugh in her face and ask if she was going to the *job centre* because of her helmet, he sneered and continued to mock her laughing with his face turned away, but she saw and heard everything he wasn't very discreet. When she reached her destination she confronted him and he says he was only joking after she took a photo of his taxi ID card. I do not recommend using this firm a PUBLIC service which mocked someone with disabilities and health issues.
Pre booked a taxi for 8-00am to go to a training day. Got a txt at 8-15 saying due to high demand my taxi was running late even though it was pre booked. Than got a message at 8-30 to say my taxi had been cancelled. Got to my training course late. Will never use them again
