We booked a one-night spa break as a first night away from our little ones.nnIt was nearly impossible to get a hold of someone before we arrived. We had to call 10 times to finally speak with someone.nnSpa needs maintenance - tiles missing, looking a little worn, one of the two saunas not working. Spa treatment was lovely.nnRoom a bit dated but has all facilities needed.nnBreakfast was horrific. The cooked vegan breakfast was cold, they forgot to add the extra bits we needed and the oat flat white was cold and with cow’s milk.nnBath is an amazing city to visit, but we will be booking at another hotel next time. Value for money this hotel isn’t.
We come here every year for our anniversary, and we’re going to get married here too. The staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the location is fantastic. It’s rare to find somewhere in Bath with free parking! The use of the spa and pool is a big bonus.
We had a wonderful stay at the Bath Spa Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely premises and a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable.nnA special thank you to Gaelle and Cosmina, who gave us such dedicated attention and made our stay even more enjoyable. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out, and we really appreciated it. In general, all the staff were so welcoming and helpful—it made the experience even better.nnWe will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Bath!
A beautiful hotel but by ΝΟ means 5 star. The staff is pleasant but totally hopeless. So many different instances of inadequacy and lack of training. We stayed there for a week over Christmas 4 rooms. We were offered a room upgrade and on arrival were shown to a different room to the one promised when we remonstrated, they then agreed not to charge an upgrade and we moved to a standard room. We were told breakfast was till 10am; it turned out it was till 11. A lift broke down and it took two days to simply shut it down so that it didn't keep coming when you called it one wasn't supposed to use it but couldn't call the other one while that one was already there. It remained out of order for the next 4 days till we left.nThere is no turn down service in the evening 5 star???. We were constantly disturbed in the middle of the day by a housekeeper asking if the towels had been changed. Room service and valet parking advertised but non existent. We moved into a room that our daughter had checked out of and came back to find the safe where we had already put our valuables had been opened... All minor little things that show it is completely mismanaged.
My husband and I booked a much needed 2 night indulgent spa break but were unable to go due to flu. We have tried and tried on numerous occasions at different times of the day and evening to speak to someone at the hotel and still, a week later, have not managed to do so. This is really not acceptable and only adds to our disappointment at not having been able to go. Not only have we lost a lot of money but won’t be making a booking a this hotel again. Very disappointing service.
