4* Hotel. Georgian period building, originally a number of houses... overlooks a large grassed square. Decor elegant, stylish, highly patterned wallpaper, in keeping with the period. Lovely bedrooms. Beautifullly decorated. Velvet sofa. Large double bed, Egyptian Cotton linen and towels. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Brasserie Blanc restaurant integral part of the hotel. Delicious food. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Francis last week. From the cheerful and helpful young folks at reception, the delicious breakfasts and the relaxed but elegant ambiance of the lobby, this hotel has it all. Stay here and enjoy drinks in the sitting rooms after a long day of site seeing in this fab city. This hotel is a bargain; you won't regret your choice.

Great location with very helpful staff. Room was a little dated but luxurious with everything we needed and a nice outlook. Modern bathroom with a shower over bath. Expensive, but then it's Bath!

Superb 19th century hotel made up of 9 18th century to houses. Lovely bedroom. Excellent restaurant
