Family stay and the "2 double bed family room" turned out to be one large double and one oversized fold out sofa single which was a bit of a squeeze. Shower was really good, powerful and hot. Air con worked well. Breakfast buffet was well stocked (thought we turned up at 8am on Saturday). Despite the renovations the hotel was undergoing it was quiet and the staff were very attentive. It's just a shame that my stay was heavily swayed by the bed situation.

Our room was at the top floor at the very end of the building next to the ongoing construction, which I thought would be very noisy. But I never heard a single thing. Beds very comfy and bathroom standard. Inclusive breakfast also very nice and staff very friendly.

Location was 15 minute walk from town centre which meant the room was very quiet. The room was good size, had a comfy bed and was clean. It also had everything we needed - iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee, shower gel etc. Also had plugs by the bed which was good for charging phones. Our room was by the building works which were going on but this was not a disturbance due to it being a weekend. We were also able to check-in early. The breakfast was nice. It was very busy in the breakfast area and some people had to wait for others to leave before they could sit down, I think they are doing building work to make this room larger at the moment though.

Decent sized rooms for three people. Double bed and sofa bed. Clean and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Nice, clean rooms. Nice bar and restaurant area. The breakfast was nice too. Bacon was a bit too greasy for my liking, but there were plenty of other options.
