If you manage to get a room facing the river, the view is lovely. We read reviews about how small the rooms are and cannot comment on that because we were upgraded and our room size was rather reasonable. You can tell however that the furnishings were rather dated. The breakfast on a Monday was a made to order affair and was below average. Considering the many nice food options in Bath, skip breakfast at the hotel if you can. That said, the location is superb!

Stayed overnight on business, and only slept in the hotel, I didn't have time for much else. The staff are helpful and friendly, checking in was easy, and there is a choice of lift or stairs to get to the floors with rooms. The room I had could do with a bit of modernisation, especially the bathroom which was tiny with one of those hand style showers in a bath. The room wasn't very sound proof, I was next to the lift which could have been the issue, but the bed was comfortable.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and great breakfast. Rooms a bit tired and dated but clean.
