We really enjoyed our stay here. Such a good location to everything, we walked pretty much everywhere. The room had a nice view which we did not expect as one of us had travelled to London and stayed at a much more expensive hotel and had no view. Our room was cleaned every second day from memory which we did not expect but was really nice. For the money I think you'll struggle to find anywhere with a better location, privacy and a view for the sort of money charged. I'd certainly recommend and would come back again if I come back to London.
So many things went wrong whilst I stayed here: Ceilings breaking, rooms flooding, being locked out of my room, and so much more. Only good thing is the location.
Best location for the price. Room/bathroom are similar to the size on a cruise ship but perfect for a young couple who are getting to know each other while exploring London. Staff was friendly along with the students who were staying there for school. Would not recommend this place for older people. We would stay there again.
Excellent location and an unbeatable price. Probably the best deal in the city if you know what to expect. Rooms are student dorm rooms with a cruise ship sized private bath. Our first room had carpet with multiple stains and odours. They moved us to a new room with laminate flooring which was better. Minus a star for the late check in at 3:00 PM. We arrived after a 12 hour journey but they would not check us in because it was only 1:00 PM.
Recently spent two nights here and found the accommodation adequate. The location is perfect and right in the center of London. You won't find a better location for the money. The room was a typical dorm room, nothing exciting. The bathroom is small, the bed is hard, but it is a dorm and those things are expected. I would stay again.
lovely stay here. pretty clean, staff was nice, this is a dorms during the year it seems, but has very competitive rates as a hotel to be sure. the room we got had te wo double beds put together as our one bed. there was a shared kitchen but private bathroom. there is no air conditioning. the bathroom is quite small, shower above the toilet, ive had some small bathrooms so am used to it but it is very very small
Overpriced for its quality, and probably never coming back. The rooms look way better on photos, when I arrived to the room I really got disappointed with it. The bed is comfortable, however it is noisy. The bathroom is really really small, actually you need to split half of the shower with your toilet. It gets really messy when showering, all the bathroom's floor gets wet and the most impressive thing is the fact that the vent is awful and really dirty I never seen something that disgusting. The walls are a bit dirty and a bit degraded with some pipes showing up. The room is only cleaned in the places that are visible, behind the furnitures everything is really dusty. For me the worst thing about this room is the incredible heat on the rooms. Outside the temperature is about 18 ºC and in the room just feels like 30ºC. The fan given from the reception is useless due to the fact that it will only blow the heat felt on the room to you. One of the elevators is not working well, but that is not a big deal there is always one working. It is a bit strange that the rooms are very much hotter than the corridors. I never used the kitchen, but it does look a bit outdated. However, I would still prefer to have a small fridge on the room than to use the kitchen. Unfortunately I asked to change room but that did not happen. I would really love to get something done for me because I stil have two more weeks in this room, and the only to thing that I want is get out of here. The only good thing about this is its location.
It's cheap student accommodation in the city centre. Great location and security but even for student accommodation the rooms are really run down and the shower and bathroom is essentially a portaloo. We had a "double bed" which was two singles pushed together, however the springs on one of the beds was broken so as soon as you slept on it would literally sink down. Don't expect to be comfortable if you stay here but the location makes up for it especially if you are on a tight budget and plan to spend the entire day out.
DIY Kitchens are fine. Bedroom for the price was fine. Shower and loo are very small. I had the fan on all night, window open. It's only April; I think it might get very hot in Summer. I'd stay here again when on a budget. No issues with security of the building.
If you want a budget-friendly stay in London, this is the place. The staff are friendly. It is really close to Tafalgar Square, King's Cross station, walking distance to the Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben. The bathroom is really tiny. You can also get a room with a bigger room that has a kitchen. That's what we did.
