We like these baths because they are local, the staff are friendly and we have made good friends there. The toilets and changing rooms have been decorated to look a lot better. Our biggest bug bear is parents from the swimming club walking through the shower area in outdoor shoes or parents wheeling pushchairs onto the poolside. Mud , dog poo, mucus etc walked through off pavements are not nice additions to the baths. Non-swimmers should have to remove footwear or use shoe covers. Hygiene standards cannot be maintained without this. Worst is abusive parents who think its ok to do it and management who apparently cant do anything about it???

Needs knocking down and rebuilding. Unfortunately there is no money in the tax payers  pot to do this, so it a "mend and make do." The changing rooms are rubbish. The staff are nice. It has a massive pool to swim in. It's just well past its sell by date. Sorry.

Pleasantly surprised. Although it's a tired place and the changing rooms a bit grotty, both pools are a good size, clean and quiet. It's old and quirky, but I like that.

Old fashioned swimming baths. Staff are very friendly though.

pools. Kids and adults. Shower facilities, changing rooms and toilets. The only issue is the public access hours. The baths aren't open to the public except for unusual hours (mornings on weekends) and around 8-9 only on weekdays
