Run away!!! Worst gym ever. If you wan to pay a yearly membership to have a coach spending all his time on his arcade game, go for it. During a training session, I tore my calf. I screamed lying on the floor for five minutes on the floor, Damian didn't even look at me once. I then sat alone in a chair before cycling home pedaling with one leg. Some guys are cool, but those who have at least one fight or have made one interclub look down all the others. So the state of mind isn't great among the members either.
Been training here for nearly 3 years, signing up was the best thing I did! Great gym with excellent instructors Damien and Damon. Full of great people who are always willing to help, made Good friends along the way and there’s always a great atmosphere in the gym!
K-Star Legacy is a great Muay Thai Boxing Gym! Both instructors are highly skilled and deliver the classes very well. I like that the instructors are keen to help you progress and are attentive to your own individual performance. It's nice to see a range of experience in class, varied with younger and older people, both men and women. K-Star Legacy 5/5
No other fight club compares to K-Star Legacy. Been at the club for nearly 6 years since opening. Damien is one of the greatest coaches for this sport so look nowhere else if you want to learn Muay Thai. Simon and Damon are also really good coaches and motivators. We all are a Kstar family.
Been here for 7 months and the progress I've made in that time is unreal, great price for world class coaching. Damien Trainor is one of the best Muay Thai coaches in the UK and Simon is a great fighter and even greater coach, awesome place to train.
I’ve trained under the instruction of the head instructor, Damien Trainor, for over 10years. Damien guided me to become a champion fighter and to be able to run my own Thai boxing academy. Both Damien and Simon instructor at legacy provide world class tuition. A great academy to train at.
Being part of this club was best decision I've made after trying different ones where you won't learn anything but you will pass the grading after paying right amount of money. If you want to take muay thai seriously this club won't disappoint you. It was a privilege to be trained by Damien Trainor and Simon Whitehead and to be in one of the best clubs around the world with its own reputation. Every class left me thinking and analysing what was said about the technique and the drill, I've learned so much in such a short time period and enjoyed every second of it.
The best thai boxing club in Birmingham. Everywhere else I went was no where near close to the standards at Damiens club. Great team great students and great place to train. Very reasonably priced considering the amount of classes available and the expertise offered. I dont recommend anywhere else for muay thai.
I have trained at different boxing clubs overs the years but Kstar is different! Damian is a world class coach! Would recommend the club to any body at any age!
