I was very pleased with my stay here. The rooms are small but really cosy. Nice tea and coffee facilities in each room and plenty of clean towels. I even had some welcome chocolates on the towels. Very clean and tidy. The location is absolutely fantastic.Rooms: 5/5
This was my first time staying here, I don't even usually stay in Kings Cross as it always seems too hectic! Keystone House is convenient to find directly opposite the station. Fully automated for convenience, a member of staff maybe available if required by phone or on reception. I met 2 different ones during my stay and they were helpful, warm and friendly. Rooms are a good size, bathrooms are beautifully clean and with a decent shower, just what we always need! Some even have a kitchenette agin very clean with all you need for light supper of breakfast. Beds are a good size with cosy duvets and pillows for good night sleep. They even offer a 10% discount to the bar next door. Really good value for money, safe, comfortable and convenient. My only concern is if I tell too many people, I might not be able to get a room when I need one! That being said, highly recommend.
Stayed here for 2 nights in really hot temperatures. Recently refurbished so everything was new, modern and clean. A/C unit looked brand new and worked a treat. There was a large window that opened. Room was surprisingly spacious for the price and especially for a London hostel, assuming this was because I booked a deluxe room. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole stay and impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room. The only downsides which lost a star was that the double bed was just 2 single mattresses joined together which made it uncomfortable and we could hear people in the beer garden behind our room until late. Overall good for the money and I would stay again.
Very, very, clean and great location SCALA is not open on a Monday, when I stayed plus super easy check-in and check-out though i would not trust the locks with any proper valuables if i was staying more than a night. No proper 2bl glazed windows would not have bothered me if I had not become used to living away from London/cities and quite noisy drains. It's as good as it can be without a big investment on noise insulation -- and for the price it is good value I was in a premium double, 102 But they need to make their doubles more comfortable. The bed itself was awful and it was connected to another with what seemed like a wide bit of ply. If you want a double bed this is no good and if like me you're alone this is still rubbish. Nevertheless I probably would stay here again
Great little accomodations. Small, well thought out rooms, although a little noisy noise comes from the traffic outside. Good service. TV didn't work when I arrived, but the receptionist sorted it out.Rooms: 4/5
Great find when looking for a last minute hotel. Nice clean room with comfy bed and man at reception helped me so much and even helped with my heavy luggage. Definitely will return.Rooms: 5/5
I am adding to a previous review, I spent a night in keystone house before my exam, at 3 am drilling noise started at the wall of my room, I called the receptionist asking for help who disappeared, then not responded to me ringing the bell shown on cameras, headache and lack of sleep due to construction work at 3 am affected my exam performance, and then the hotel is asking me to delete the review which is a fact in order to process a refund, I offered to add another review if they process a refund to show that they did something to resolve my problem, but they ignored my messages despite being responding before, same attitude as the receptionist who ignored my concern as a guest, all in all, bad hotel service, followed by bad customer service afterwards.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was great. The room was very small with no window but comfy bed and clean bathroom. Great location with pubs, tube station and shops nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will defo come back next time we're in London.
Very friendly staff, brilliant location and cheap. But you really do get what you pay for. The room itself had no window, but I knew that when booking, but the beds were just so uncomfortable, and pushed against the wall so every time you rolled over you cracked the wall, which felt flimsy and probably disturbed the room next door too. That said the bathroom facilities were clean and presentable. If on a budget and can sleep anywhere, then this woul be for you, but if not then suggest looking elsewhere.
Clean, serviceable and friendly service. Plus it's literally next to the station!Rooms: 4/5
