I recently stayed at this hostel and had an excellent experience. The hostel is very clean and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Out of all the hostels I’ve stayed at in London, this one is by far the best. There is a lot of space, which adds to the comfort. I really appreciate the cleanliness and the warmth of the environment. If I’m ever in London late, I definitely plan to come back here with my friends. Highly recommended!
Average hostel, suitable for backpackers passing through or for business travellers. The community room is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is priced at £3 per person. The location is very convenient if you want to visit Camden Town and surrounding neighbourhoods. Rooms: Very small rooms and bathrooms EXTREMELY small in size, we found it hard to move around. Shared room. Furthermore, as it should be, drinks and food are not allowed, under penalty of a fine.
The floor in bathroom and the bedroom are not really clean. No soap in the bathroom. You have to pay if you want to store your luggage 3pounds, from my point of view the luggage’s storage fee should be included in the bedroom price. The two ladies at the room desk are nice!Rooms: 2/5
Went there because it was cheap and ideally located in Camden. Will go back because it's very good value for money. It was very clean, bed was surprisingly comfortable ok I like them firm. Nothing luxurious but it does a really good job at being a hostel. I took a private two person room bunk beds with ensuite. It was small but you don't need more to crash after a day of touristing around.
I recently stayed at Smart Camden Inn Hostel for 5 nights during my solo trip to London. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hostel provided a secure environment, especially in the 9-bed female dormitory where I felt safe and comfortable. However, there were limited sockets in the bedroom, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite this, everything else was perfect—the location was convenient, the common areas were welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Rooms: One minor inconvenience I encountered was the limited availability of sockets in the bedroom. With all the other girls using them, I struggled to find an available socket to plug in my mobile phone or hairdryer. Near my bed, there was only a USB port for charging devices, which was convenient but not sufficient for my needs. Safety: As a solo female traveller, safety is always a top priority for me, and I was pleased to find that the hostel provided a secure environment Noteworthy details: Limited sockets in the bedrooms.
Smart Camden Inn Hostel was good. We had great beds and quiet dorms. The kitchen and lounge area are great We met friendly people who are very sociable. I rated this hostel 4/5 because there were two issues. Noise and Heating/Cooling This hostel didn't have an AC working but had a window open all the time, which means that noise will be heard from the busy streets. If they could close that windows and get AC working properly, then it would be great. Walkability: The hostel is super close to the underground and bus stations.
Perfect spot to go into London with, busstop is just across the street. Privacy curtains, bathrooms everywhere. Washer and dryer at a cost you can use. Kitchen very clean and kept tidy and organised! Safety: There's a code on the doors to get in and out. After 11pm the front door also gets locked but you've a code to get in. Walkability: There's a park not too far from here, a zoo, the busstop is across the road.
£25 for the night in central london, wasn’t expecting much but I was impressed with the cleanliness, i was thinking maybe it would stink of cheesy feet & farts being the middle of summer but it was great. The room was also very peaceful as with the common areas if you’re looking for more of a chilled experience.Rooms: 5/5
Honestly one of the best I've stayed in. Facilities are clean and looked after. Common room with space for working or chilling or playing games. Big kitchen with heaps of seating. Wifi is reliable and fast. Rooms are clean and shower is up to date. Bunks have plenty of room and decent bedding. Towels cost extra so byo towel. Breakfast on offer for extra charge. Storage locker in the rooms holds a large suitcase and there's storage locker room for after check out use for £3 a locker until Midnight. Outside courtyard and 2 washing machines available. Not bad for $35 a night at all. Staff were polite and helpful too. 8 minute walk to train station or just outside hostel is buses aswell
It wasn't outstanding, but it was clean and in a good location. There isn't social activities, is just a place to sleep. They have some vending machines that doesn't work right, but there are many stores around. The room was clean, and the bunk bed gives a bit of privacy. Safety: It looks like a quiet side of the neighbourhood. Walkability: It's not far from the Thames if you like to walk.
