You know, every time I wash my car I get upset about the worsening condition of my wheels and I’ve been debating whether or not to leave a review, but I’ve decided that if my review saves future upset for others, then it was worth it. I must initially point out that at all times, the staff have been polite and friendly. About 3 years ago, I purchased a set of Audi alloys and asked KAP George to paint them for me. We discussed the colour and finish and he got to work. When I came to collect them, the finish was unacceptable and the colour very patchy. I pointed this out and he said he would redo them, which was fair enough. When I went to collect them, he took my car and swapped them over… it looked stunning. Maybe 6 months later, I noticed a slight bit of flaking and thought that a stone chip had caught the wheel, then Covid hit and we went into lockdown. The car was used very infrequently but still got washed and each time I noticed more flaking, it was the lacquer peeling, but on other rims too. After pointing this out to a couple of friends and also my local garage, they said that the “paint job” was poor. About 4 months ago I went to see George at KAP to show him the wheels, his comment was “it’s definitely failed but as it is so long ago, there’s nothing we can do but I can offer you a discount if I want them redone” I can’t honestly remember if it was 10/15% but I can’t afford to pay out £300-£400 each time they start to flake. Now my car looks as though the wheels have been home painted and really looks awful. Be warned that after a year, you have no comeback even if they admit the “paint job” had failed.
Recently bought my 308 GTI which I’m thoroughly in love with from KAP Folkestone and received professional and friendly service from Harry White. Lovely, genuine salesperson who was honest from the start and works to please his customers. Great communication, and a well organised purchase to handover experience. Without hesitation I would recommend Harry and the dealership.
Had an overall very good experience - Had to wait for weeks for a car part but that's nothing to do with the branch as there are shortages. All was fixed to perfection once part arrived. Also had my MOT done - quick, efficient and they also did a nice job cleaning my car in and out. Will definitely come back if I need anything.

Bought a car in September with a year guarantee; no problem buying, salesman was helpful but after 3 months got problems with car. Went there and was told that there will be a charge for one of the problem, I was told that the software needs updating and will be charge for updating the software which they charged after updating. Very disappointed as, I was told that the car will be under warranty for a year and was sold without updating the software.
Jodie offered fantastic customer service. She ensured that my car was ready for when I needed it. She also arranged for it to be washed and hoovered. I will definitely go to KAP when my MOT is due.
Well what can I say the staff at Kap Folkestone are absolutely brilliant Dave and Alex made our experience seamless they are very professional and make you feel like home there is no pressure and they explain everything and being a mechanic myself they are very knowledgable and easy going if I was there boss I would definitely give these guys a pay rise and I tell you what nothing was to much trouble thank you guys from our heart best regards from Graham and Tracy thank you
Visiting kent this week my battery stopped charging on Ford Puma. Phoned several Ford garages and bar one they were unhelpful and no one would take it in for 1-to 3 weeks I was leaving at the end of the week do people in kent use a crystal ball and know their car will have a problem? Stumbled across KAP whose service reception were understanding, helpful and efficient. The car was towed in the next day thank you Green Flag, the problem found by lunch time and solved by close of day - it just needed a computer update. I cannot praise those on reception or the service guys enough. What could have been an expensive disaster as I had to leave kent was a bit of an inconvenience. Would definitely recommend KAP and would score more if I could. Thank you
You cannot fault the nissan dealers for anything. Their sales, service and repair staff are fantastic. They keep you informed during a service and always put their customers first. Good people skills is what makes this Nissan dealers stand out from the rest, and other branches!!! Very respectful of your wishes or concerns if needing a temporary vehicle. This team works well together and truly deserve praise for their customer service skills. Thats my 4th Nissan purchased from you, and im extremly satisfied. Thankyou
Jodie is a very knowledgeable , helpful, receptionist ,always very welcoming with a big smile on her face , and of course behind the scenes it’s the mechanics who work very hard to provide the best possible service
