Guys !! This place is so huge you will get lost because I did. One of the best places to get all your home needs. They also have great staffs who make sure you get what you want. This outlet especially in fonthill is gonna be closed in sometime. So they have quite good offers on everything. I repeat, everything. And they are all great quality too. Managed to click a few pictures. Hope they are helpful. Visit as soon as possible and get the good deals people !!
Very sad the store is closing down
I have always liked this store as I have visited many times. Sadly for the second time in its history it states that it is closing down and the was 20% off all products. Personally I hope it stays as it is a better store than the head store on the corner of Naas road. Staff have always been helpful in all departments and the range of household goods is impressive with good quality products on sale. The layout is a winner here with nice spaced displays and many items over the years were competitively priced against other opposite stores in the area. I really hope the store is retained as it is very nice to visit

Buyers beware. Homebase are having a closing down sale and I purchased a Ryobi cordless blower today. It was the last one in the shop and the box had been opened and resealed. I asked at the till if everything I needed was in the box and was told it was. I was told if there’s anything missing to bring it back. When I got to the car I opened the box to find there was no battery or charger so I brought it back. I was told it doesn’t come with a battery or charger and that these must be bought separately. I asked if they have the battery & charger and they said no. I asked for a refund and was advised that that was not possible as the product was not defective. I asked to speak to a manager. The 1st “manager” confirmed that I could not get a refund but offered to sell me a used battery & charger for €40, saying it would cost €80 new. I then spoke to another manager who said the 2nd hand battery was a good deal as the battery & charger would cost over €100 new. As I had little option I bought the battery & charger. I told him I was still unhappy and he advised I contact customer services online. When I got home I noticed that the battery was manufactured in 2016. Some deal, not! I also tried contact them online to no avail. Don’t get caught for a mug like me when purchasing from this cowboy outlet.
Shopping for garden plants: my visit was Friday afternoon. Store was nice and quiet enabling me to complete my shopping for plants for my garden. Staff were very attentive, relaxed but very helpful when approached with questions. Store was very clean and tidy. Would recommend this place.
Received great help from Sean on the floor. Hats off to him! Helped me locate everything I needed & then carried it out to my car. A lovely pleasant young man. Well done Sean, Homebase lucky to have you!
Went their as of closing down sale, not much products available at the moment. However, the items available are comparatively cheap. Very spacious and well arranged.
Great store, a bit messy to shop in due to lots of stock, but that would not put me off shopping there. Staff extremely friendly who always appear happy to serve you.
