Absolutely tragic customer service. Ordered a bike for click and collect. I’d forgotten to add the service of them putting it together, so when the bike came in to store I called and asked for it to be put together. After 20 mins on the phone, not even directly to the store, I was told it would be ready Tuesday/Wednesday. By Friday I had heard nothing and spent a total of 45 minutes on the phone to Halfords, who couldn’t get through to the branch in question. After being promised an urgent call back, I never heard anything and had to call again. When I was finally contacted to be told the bike was ready, I was left standing in an empty shop, ignored by staff for ten minutes only to be told the bikes are only dealt with “upstairs”. When I get up there, three staff members are sitting around chatting and don’t look up til I talk to them. Was almost over charged since I had asked that the care plan option be removed from my order, the staff member said “no problem” and proceeded to charge me for it anyway until I questioned the amount. Once I finally had the bike, the staff didn’t so much as offer to help me bring the bike downstairs. Absolutely shockingly bad service. Wouldn’t bother going anywhere near them again. The only positive is that the bike looks nice and seems to have been reasonably priced. Not worth the hassle.
I rang the number for the liffey valley store and ended up getting through to some call centre. I told the woman on the phone I wanted to see do the liffey valley store stock castrol 10w60 edge as I was going to go down to buy some. Was on hold for a few minutes and she came back and confirmed that they did and it was €59. I drove 35 min to the store to discover that they don't keep it and its an online offer only and it has to be ordered in. What an absolute waste of time and fuel. I wouldn't of had this problem if i spoke to someone physically in the store who would of told me this before I left. Get rid of those call centres.
Horrible customer service, I ordered two bikes for my twin 3 year old boys and have emailed their customer service multiple times. I phoned their customer service adding puncture repair to the order and it was never added. I was promised a phone call from the store and they have not bothered contacting me. This close to Christmas and no response. I will never buy from Halfords again.
Very friendly! Super quick! I was in and out in no time. All team members I encountered were very helpful.
An absolute joke Halfords. A simple car battery enquiry. My call routed to call centre abroad , then said they'd have to call Liffey Valley branch. Left on hold 6 minutes, then an automated survey , then thru to the most unhelpful "resolution expert". Don't waste your time with Halfords
Visted Halfords in Liffey Valley today to have gas in aircon unit topped up. Paddy done a fantastic job very friendly checked everyting to ensure i was satisfied when job completed and all done with proffesional friendly attitude and smile.Thanks Paddy.
Needed a new tube for a escooter when on to Halfords website and found only one left so reserved it got an email and text from them that it was ready when I went to collect it they sold it even tho they had the print out with my details on it at the counter don't see the point of reserving with them if they don't actually hold it for you
Just like to say how happy I was with Halfords Liffey valley.Paddy was a great help as he replaced a head light,and checked the rest,also refilled the cars Adblue,car is now running as it should .Thanks Paddy %.
Showed as available online. Went to the shop after the one hour delay and then after a couple minutes waiting they tell me they don't have it in stock. They claimed they tried to ring me, however, when I said no they didn't I asked to confirm which number they rang and the number they gave me was not mine and I knew I hadn't entered a wrong number as I had received a text confirming my order so big mess on their end.
Halfords serviced my bike and did a brilliant job. Returned it like new. Thanks a million and great value and prompt too.
