UNHAPPY IN-STORE EXPERIENCE I’ve been a loyal customer at Eurasia Supermarket since 2021. Going to shop almost every week. Few hours ago, at 13:03, I went to the shop to by some Brazilian items, as usual, and was informed that Scooters are not allowed. My scooter was turned off from the first step into the shop. I asked why, and since when they have made that decision. I told him that I always bring my scooter with me and nobody from the store asked me to turn around and leave, not even once. Instead of explaining or give me any reason he kept saying “You’re not allowed “, “You’re not allowed “, “You’re not allowed “. A lady beside us started to talk to him in a different language while I was waiting for an explanation. At the end, I had to go inside the store to exit by another door. Funny thing is, on the way to get out nobody asked me about the scooter. On the way out, I picked the item I needed, paid for it and before leaving I asked the cashier. Just because I asked, she said “Sorry, you’re not allowed to come with the scooter”. As soon I as got home, I searched on their website, instagram page, google updates, for any information or warning about entering the store with scooters. NO INFORMATION AT ALL. No posters at the store either. I’m not telling all of it to be contacted, but to help you not losing more customers as I’m not going there ever again, neither my friends, neither housemates or my family. And before coming with the excuse of: “You could hurt someone in the store with your scooter”, know that it’s a carrying item, as well as a trolley shopping cart, as well as a baby buggy which I have been hit once at the same store and never complained. And I couldn’t find any law about it. For the owners, directors, managers, make sure you have trained your staff properly and provide information about any rule applied, to avoid exposing your customers to humiliating situations.
I've been shopping here for years. Excellent variety of spices and other ingredients, including halal meats. They also have lovely take away.
Bad experience as once got the expired item from this store and twice get the wrong billing due to scanning of one item twice. Normally I don't check the bills as this incident happened with us earlier once & one of my friend also had similar incident with them. So, this time I checked my bill & found one the €10 item scanned twice. The counter lady was rude and acting surprisingly but I think they get trained for this. Though she return the amount but It looks like this is their regular practise. They don't get caught as normally people don’t check their receipts. So, avoid this shop or check date of expiry for each n every item before buying & you must check ur bill items twice before leaving the counter.
Love this store, I am Irish myself and enjoy trying different ethnic foods, one thing I will say is staff are so helpful, really enjoy the Deli counter, well worth a visit even if its just to pick up some snacks or spices.
It's a good place to visit if you are looking for indian items. I visited this place one week ago and bought some indian items. I could see a good variety and quality here. Except that you can enjoy Indian food here. I tried a chole bhature that was not as expected but still as this was the first time I actually had chole bhature in Ireland so loved it. It could be better but that's ok.
An amazing Asian superstore with all that you want under one roof. Being an Indian, I get all classic Indian stuff from here, with a choice as almost as in India. Great variety. And the best part is the deli. Truly Authentic India food - Malabar Chicken Biriyani, Masala Dosa, Vada, Chola Bhature and a plethora of authentic Indian sweets! Oh my God! Loved it…
I am a regular custom in eurasia. But last my visit i purchased some packed sweet from eurasia. Its damaged and inside also taste is different. I came there back. But the punjabi man i dont know who is that showing like owner of eurasia refused and talk very badly infront of other people and not returned the product also.his words is like that.. We are not responsible for this, if other customers complaints we will inform to the dealer.and again call to eurasia office the people response is very good, and change my product immediately. Eurasia owners. We know you have shorage of staff.but dont behave like that. We dont want money back. Because we are regular customers. Just accept our suggestion. And please tell staff Not all staff. Other staff is extra good behavior atlaeast response what they said. If we have complaints to food authorities definitily there response is fast. Brand i purchased is Nila
I have been a regular customer at Eurasia, the Asian store at this location, with a variety of stock and literally every spice that you need to make your food tasty. However the entrance to these shops are towards the other side of the bus stop, so it takes a bit of walking to get there. Try the Gulab Jamun at the food counter, it is delicious!!
Very nice store. Haven't been to a store like this even in India where I got Achappam and Khakhra in the same shelf. They have very wide range for everything you might need in Indian household. My first visit made me a permanent customer there.
