A lovely hotel! I stayed here on a busy saturday night and all of the facilities were spot on, except for parking which was extortionate for such a tiny space.nEverything was very clean and the staff member on arrival was welcoming and made check in very easy! There was also no traffic noise at all despite being on a busy road.nMy only criticism with the room itself is that there was something creaking on the roof all night which made it hard to sleep.nI stay in Newcastle regularly and this has been my favourite hotel!

Travelled to Newcastle for the very first time from Canada to watch the football match. This place was absolutely the right choice for us. The gentleman that greeted us never got his name, the lady that was there on our checkout day said maybe james was top class all around from the moment we walked through the door till we were off to the match the next day. He stored our luggage for us as we arrived too early from the plane for check-in. Would absolutely stay here again if we’re lucky enough to come back to the toon!

On the main road with paid parking £11 at the side has electric hook ups too. 20mins walk into town for shops and resteraunts.nnClean and welcoming inside, theres a cafe serving beer as well.nnThe rooms are well looked after, comfy bed large TV, hot drinks in room.nBathroom the walk-in shower was great.nRooms were quiet, I couldnt hear any noise from adjoining rooms, so a great nights sleep.

Slow check-in. Black mould in the bathroom and rust in the bath tub. Room was quite cold. Very small garage-size gym with 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 mat, 1 cross trainer, 1 set of weights, no clean gym towels left.nnAverage hotel breakfast.nnReception area looks stylish, staff was very nice, good bed. But that’s about all the positive things to highlight.nnExpected a bit more for £154 a night + £12 breakfast.

The rooms & fitness centre are in bad need of refurbishment.nnOn the plus side the staff is very nice, the lobby area is solid and breakfast is very tasty.nnLocation isn't great for city centre Newcastle.nnIt's generally priced cheaper that other IHG offerings in Newcastle but as normal you get what you pay for? Can recommend the Staybridge or Crowne Plaza as better offerings if you have budget for those options.
