We had an excellent short stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean and modern and all facilities were totally clean and adequate. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. An all round great atmosphere and great location. We really liked the coffee/tea/chocolate machine that was available and free to use anytime in the foyer.
As a night worker I arrived quite early in the morning after my shift, quite tired. The man on the desk was full of energy, very friendly and helpful. He was just setting out breakfast as I arrived and even though he wasn't quite finished he still offered me anything I liked. Nice comfortable bed and good facilities in the room. Staff were very helpful.
We stay here every year while attending the cherish conference at the first direct arena in Leeds . We always have an excellent stay. The staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is varied and always fresh. Would definitely recommend it.
The hotel helpfully provided entertainment. The beds are trampolines! Yay! What fun! Bouncing up and down all night was so much fun, my partner couldn't handle it and slept on the floor. The room is a sauna, who needs to pay for a spa when the hotel provide a steaming hot room! Great. I hadn't planned on going to the sauna but the lack of air conditioning gave me no choice. Finally it was a really sociable hotel. We could talk to the neighbouring guests while in their own rooms. I'd advise you to whisper to them though, otherwise the whole hotel would get woken up.
We stayed here for an evening. The room was very clean. With a lovely en suite. There is a small bar area at reception but only bottles. I did think the bar prices were rather steep as there is a Toby Carvery right next door about 20 paces, but be warned we got to the hotel dumped our stuff and walked in at approx 10.35 only to be told they wouldn't serve us as they had put the tills away. On a Friday evening, unbelievable. The breakfast was first class and for the sum of £47 for us for a standard double room with breakfast inclusive, have to say a bargain. Marked down due to bar price. A small glass of wine and a small bottle of lager £8. Far to expensive. Michael
Stopped here twice. In summer. The reception is open 24hrs. So not a problem when you come back after a night out. The guy who works Saturday nights on reception is a great person to talk to. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Just beware of the shower trays. My wife slipped on it when it was wet. I found it extremely slippery too. I told the reception and suggested they get mats for the showers. All the staff are lovely. Book early. As the price goes up on the availability of rooms. We paid £60 for a night. Booked 4 weeks previously. But was £89 if booked on the day.
I stayed here for 12 nights last summer while visiting from Texas. The staff was incredible and very helpful for this first time international traveler. They helped me call for a car, and even sent my clothes to laundry for a very reasonable price. My room was spacious and comfortable. The area was beautiful and having the carvery, gym, market and post in walking distance were all amazing perks. I would gladly stay here again if I make it across the pond again! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!
Clean Pet friendly Morning receptionist was very helpful Interesting layout in the toilet, with a multifunction door, it closes for just the toilet or the whole bathroom. The sofa bed's mattress is really thin so just slept in the sofa closed The extra bed wasn't ready although I sent a message through booking.com confirming I'd need it for a child. I was given the sheets to use.
