This hotel really know how to provide service. It’s true that I have been here a few times but what a difference the service standards of this hotel compared to the rest. From the moment you step over the door and get greeted by the concierge, then welcomed for being a diamond member by the reception team. Health club is awesome, one of the best hotel pools around and then there is the executive lounge where you get pampered to death by queen Janise and here team. Before going to bed there is still time for a visit to Brightsmith for a nightcap or 3. Special recognition goes to Janise and Sufia in the exec lounge, Andreea and Abud the guest relationship managers then Georgian, Nadia, Zack and Alex from Brightsmith .
A trip arranged by company, nothing to complain about. Day event we were to head to the NEC so this hotel location was great. Room condition was excellent - clean and tidy. The next day breakfast was okay. Not using other services so can't comment at all.
Came for an event. Rooms very nice and in good condition. Some rooms could benefit from walk in showers rather than showers over the tub.nBreakfast had a wide variety of items which tasted good. Although I would like to see more wholemeal items rather than brown bread.
Stayed here for 4 nights in the penthouse suite. Whilst a nice hotel overall with a big lobby and good bar. The room service is not great as we were told staff were not allowed to come into rooms so we had to collect all food at our own door.nnNow here is the main issue with my stay, despite us informing them that there was no power to the tv in the bedroom for the entirety of our stay - they sent a handyman to come and take a look one time and then gave up trying to fix it. The night time manager offered my family and I free breakfast delivered to our room we are a family of 4 - when i called for the breakfast to be delivered i was told it wad just 1 plate - I don’t agree with this - what are 4 people going to do with 1 plate of breakfast? I told them to leave it - i could not be bothered to explain myself again like i did to the night time manager. The next day i went for a quick dinner by myself not even with the family only to be told that although the meal was free they wanted me to pay for my soda water and lime. The whole thing was frustrating and i have waited to share my true experience until now. I ended up tipping the polite chap who served me a tenner which is more than the meal - it was never about the money for me, it was a matter of the hotel not communicating between themselves clearly enough and then having the cheek to tell me what was and was/not included in the freebie. If you are booking the penthouse suite, make sure you ask them to check that everything is in working order first. Really disappointing overall, they could have done a little bit more to win me over but nobody cared enough to do so.nnFor this to happen in the most expensive suite and to your highest paying customer is not good enough.
Hilton's usually have awesome locations and have similar features in their rooms. However this one they only give you 330ml of water as complementary, where as others you can tell them to provide you a 1liter. No Mimi bar in the room and the showers are small.nnService is a little under what is expected and parking should be free for gusts who are spending the night.nnOverall improvements are needed and decor after the main entrance needs to be updated
