At Harrogate's Turkish Baths & Health Spa, amidst surroundings that are pure Victorian you'll enjoy a unique experience enhanced by friendly, yet unobtrusive, attention.

Although Turkish Baths were common in victorian times, only seven remain which date back to the 19th century. None are as historically complete and in full working order as harrogate's Turkish Baths: their importance lies in their decoration, elaboration and rarity. The Baths Moorish design with great Islamic arches and screens, walls of vibrant glazed brickwork, the arabesque painted ceilings and terrazzo floors all add to its historic fantasy qualities......

The sauna space is great, three rooms with different temperatures. And cold plunge and pool to enjoy the transition from hot to cold. Had two hours to enjoy the facilities. They offer lockers to put your stuff and you can't take pictures obviously.I never felt so relaxed. They also have massages and other treatments.
I absolutely love this place! It’s so relaxing and calm. I had a fantastic neck, shoulders and back massage from Sonia and afterwards I felt as if I were floating!nPlus the baths themselves are beautiful spaces which transport you to another world.nAll the staff are friendly and helpful too.nShall definitely return
Coach trip break to Harrogate. Was looking for something to do on our free day. Phoned the baths 6 weeks prior to trip. They planned the whole day for me. I booked a back neck and shoulder massage with Emily to start with and I can honestly say that was the best massage ive ever had. Really got to the knots and eased off tension. Then 2 hours in the baths which were amazing. My only slight niggle and it is very tiny that there were some very loud people in the splash pool which made for a very noisy quiet area. However this wouldn't stop me going again. My skin felt amazing on leaving the baths then to finish with a bespoke facial with Katherine who was just amazing. Anyone who's been through a tough time her head massage really takes all the stress away. My skin is amazing. Also thank you to all the attendants who made sure my day went to plan and I was really looked after to the point I felt quite tearful. If you are a lone traveller do not hesitate to book in you will be well looked after xx
Fantastic, relaxing experience. I also had a treatment afterwards, which was excellent. Simon is really good at deep tissue masssge. Left feeling really relaxed. All the staff are lovely.
The Turkish Baths at Harrogate are really a wonderful place to visit. From the very start the reception staff are friendly and show you to the lovely waiting area. I had booked in for a reflexology session with Christine. I would highly recommend, such a wonderful experience!nThe Baths were busy but still plenty of room. A beautiful building and a sense of the past make this a really wonderful experience.
