This is a lovely hotel. The carvery was delicious and was delivered to our room in three servings. The room had everything you need and are kept very clean. All staff were fabulous. They were all helpful and upbeat. I've given this 3 stars as we took our dog with the hotel being declared as dog friendly; however, dogs are only allowed in your room and outside. You would expect there to be an area in the bar to dine with a dog as other pet friendly hotels in the area have.

We held our wedding at The Bridge on 26th Jan and I can not praise Helen and the rest of the staff at the hotel enough. 
From our first visit to view the venue, thorough every question we had regarding planning, nothing was too much trouble. We had absolute confidence in the team and were not disappointed.
There was a good choice of food catering for vegetarian and non vegetarian and it was all delicious!
The whole day felt very personal which is quite an achievement for a venue that hosts so many functions.

Lovely facilities and food. Very clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fantastic shower! Lovely selection of complimentary toiletries. Light and airy building with beautiful courtyard. Spa was divine. A very enjoyable experience. Spa staff were bright and cheerful. Hotel staff rather solemn in the dining suite and bar areas but professional, otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. Looking forward to another visit in spring.

This weekend my and I held our Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebration Dinner at The Bridge.  We had been planning it for over a year and were anxious that we should get everything just right.  Marisa was so helpful in accommodating everything that we required and using her vast experience also made some really valuable suggestions.  Throughout the whole process was just so easy.  On the night Ingrid and her staff ensured everything ran like clockwork from beginning to end, and of course Tom’s food was first class.  Although we were very specific about the menu choices, we invited Tom to “wow” our guests with the dessert and he did just that.  Every one of the staff that we, and our guests, came into contact with were so friendly and helpful, which cannot be taken for granted at many venues.

Overall it was a great experience and I would like to thank you and your team for making the function special and every bit as enjoyable as our wedding 50 years ago.

Visited for an overnight spa session with afternoon tea included.
Afternoon tea was lovely although we were given a bill of 60.00 & this was included in the price.
Spa was very enjoyable and rooms were warm & comfy.
Food was poor the prawn cocktail consisted of a few prawns thrown on a plate which tasted like the prawns were not washed.
All 3 of us left our starter and noone asked if there was a problem?.
The main was not brilliant either and to make matters worse we paid on the evening then on our check out we were asked to pay again!.
The meal was not worth paying what we did in the first place let alone twice.
On returning home we got a call asking for us to pay for the spa 15.00 each which we paid on the day ??
Do 'The Bridge' have a computer system logging payments ?.
Disappointing visit considering the actual place and spa was lovely .
This place was let down by the standard of food for the set menu in the evening & staff mix up with payments causing our party distress.
