Stayed here for a couple of nights on DB&B basis. Booked dinner partly because it was the best option and partly because it's fairly out of the way, especially if you've no transport.
Staff in both the restaurant and bar were friendly and attentive, when seated However, did need to wait a bit both nights for attention in the lounge.
Room was good size, well appointed and maintained.
If visiting the area again, which is likely, will certainly consider staying again.

Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. I've been to several events here, and each time it is fantastic. I had a celebratory meal with my fiance, my prom was hosted here, and I often attend their wedding fairs. Would recommend for any occasion.

Based on one night - first class hotel. Good reception, good sized room, comfortable bed, adequate additional pillows, blankets on request (night of 'Beast from the East' weather). Dined in the Bistro good choice of bistro type food, well cooked and staff happy to help and smiling. Definitely will use again and recommend to others.

My husband booked a overnight stay as one of my 50th Birthday surprises in December and it didn't disappoint.  I received some lovely chocolates in our room and again after our evening meal. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and would definitely stay there again in the future. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
